This is more depressing for my mom she had 12 miscarriages in a row and on the 13th try she got me. 14th another miscarriage. My mom is my hero she has done everything for me. I love my mom
Such a heartwarming film. I appreciate that the writer shared her sad story and transformed it into a beautiful short movie. And the blonde lady near the end gave me hope. I was in tears.
Andra Karsten oh my gosh! I really hope u can someday make a baby. I know adopting isn't the same as ur own child but sometimes it's the last resort. I'm sure ur still young though, so keep trying :) I can only imagine how tough it is to lose a child 😟
*For anyone curious, this little film is about a mother who miscarries a child (probably due to obstruction of the fetus' development). It is pretty common, and sad :(
Luke Timmer it's part of life and they will always happen and it's hard to stop them but just look at it as the only way just keep trying and maybe adopt because there are so many rejected kids waiting for new parents but sometimes never come
We can't escape our troubles or Struggles... It's a THING that'll never leave EVERYONE has their owm struggles they're trying to fight, some gave up ..... Like thiswoman... Who just wants her unborned child back...
My mom had 2 miscarriages as well. The first one was when she was maybe 18 or 19 because she had me at 16. She was devastated and I didn't know what was going on. She would cry every day. Little did she know that by age 30, she would have 5 kids that keep her happy :)
I'm glad they put that in there. It added a great deal more humanity and dignity to what happened. Shame the next occupant of that stall won't really understand the gravity of that message. I won't look at bathroom graphiti the same way again.
so sad and beautiful, seemed so surreal for the family to flush!!! The older lady in the mall was like am angel and when she spoke so kindly to the little girl, that made the whole video for me and almost made me cry!!!! so very sorry to the families that experience this loss often overlooked by others.
When she told the lady at the desk her sister was list, I was worried that she'd start an incredibly embarrassing search for the list child. Glad the little girl explained a little further.
I didn't think this would make me cry.. but here I am 2 weeks after I miscarried.. I didn't know I was pregnant.. but it still hurt a little. and more than I thought watching this.. sigh
Mallory Washington I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost 2 babies and the sadness was so unbearable at times.....but every day your heart heals a little more. I finally had my twins on my 6th fertility treatment. Wishing you a strong and healthy pregnancy when you start trying :) Hugs
It's funny how so many people who want children can't have any and those who don't want make. that's why so many children are put up for adoption. It's one of my goals to adopt children in the future.
Kari_Haruna Abortion "In 2013, 664,435 legal induced abortions were reported to the CDC. The abortion ratio was 200 abortions per 1,000 live births. Jan 6, 2017" Americans only adopt 135, 000 kids per year, and that includes inter-family adoptions, and out of country adoptions. It's estimated that 64% of terminations are now done via abortion pill, so the rate is much, much higher. Unfortunately, what you said is exactly the opposite.
XXx_Wolfy_xXX jr well they don't want to grab her bloody corpse out of the toilet. Of course it's messed up. But they really didn't have any other choice. How do you think they'd feel grabbing their dead daughter out of a toilet! It'd be horrifying! Life scarring even!! Gosh, think before you comment!!
This was so sad! I've never had a miscarriage but my sister and best friend have. It just breaks my heart for all the mothers who have experienced such a tragedy. My heart goes out to you all and your little angels. Too perfect for this world....
I lost my baby at 14 weeks, and died 3 minutes after birth when I was 16.. I was hit in the stomach. and For all those cruel people who don't believe it's a real baby, it is. It's a life. and its the most painful thing to feel losing it.
This is truly heart breaking honesty.... It sucks to know that mothers must go through this...It truly is one of my biggest fears and my heart will be broken... I feel depressed that poor women go through this and I wish this upon no-one ever. My heart ached as I watched this short film...You could feel the sadness shaking your core...And as much as you hate your sister or brother be thankful for them...This was heart wrenching...
To whoever is going through something like this, HAVE FAITH. It's difficult and heartbreaking, yes, but, it'll all be worth it. My mom and dad tried a lot to have a child but, it wouldn't happen so, they resolved to out of body fertilization. First try, they got me. I was named Zoe, which means life in my language, cause I gave them life. They tried 3 more times, first two failed and then came my lil sis. She took my grandma's name, similar to the little girl in the film. Last but not least my lil bro came naturally and unexpectedly, he was a miracle. I learned about this some days ago and I just felt like sharing it.This video was really sad but, I hope it spoke to people who needed it 🙏
Many abort... And the few who do want, some miscarriage... Simply put... those that want...can't and those that can... won't.... How strange is life? Indeed, life.... is full of paradox... n'est pa?
a. banks. Non.... A lot of people who want kids CAN Get them. A lot of people who abort maybe WANT to keep it but their circumstances don't allow them to.
Camille S. B. indeed, people act like abortions are easy and normal. they're not. even if a woman didn't want the baby, couldn't keep it, or whatever the reason is… an abortion is always very sad an difficult for the mother. some people think that the fetus means nothing to them… those people are idiots
My mom had 6 miscarriages when I was younger she would always say I was gonna have another brother or sister and then I never here about it again... we adopted 3 new kids when I was about 11 and it filled in the void. this short film was heartbreaking to watch 😞
This is so heart warming. When you have a younger sibling please take care of them. They might be the only thing you have left when people go away please don't be mean to them they are just kids. This is making me cry by what just happened.
Meg likes Tacoz I don't think that's what she talking about when she says right, I think she means health wise at least hopefully, because otherwise that's just stupid thinking.
I really started bawling my eyes out when the mother walks by with her baby in the carriage after all that went down ( 6:10 ) I also couldn't finish the video....
When it’s done by an abortion it’s a clump of cells, but when it’s a miscarriage it’s a son or a daughter. I hope many see this film and know that whether you want to kid yourself or not out of convenience, it’s always a baby, no matter how small
Peash The An Cermet MAYBE, they meant seeing others sad/in pain helped them realize they aren't alone in what they're going through and that helped them a bit?
Same, I didnt think it was that sad. And tbh, having no siblings would be the best because they cant annoy you when the grow up. When only my sis and bro were born, my bro threw a wooden block at my sis's head and she still has the mark. She is a teenager now.
Chiera Johnson My little sister hits people and screams at them if she doesn't get her way.(she's 4, been doing this since she was 2) My older brother, total trouble maker, cares more about girls and video games than his own mother being sick, and his younger sister getting injured. Acts like a total jerk towards everyone. Still love 'em. Well... actually Does anyone want to take my older brother?
Wow this made me cry and think about the baby I lost over 11 years ago. I passed him/her at a little before 11 weeks gestation in our toilet at home after going through contractions and hours of pain prior to that but I couldn't bring myself to flush it down and rather retrieved it out of our toilet and buried it. I didn't think the pain would ever go away and I was terrified to try again for quite some time because I just couldn't go through that excitement and then pain again. I didn't have anything to show for my pregnancy so when I started having severe depression I didn't realize I was actually having postpartum depression. It took me quite a bit of time to get over the baby we lost and be able to try again, but we finally did and now our daughter just turned 9 yesterday. I realize that everything truly does happen for a reason. I wouldn't have had Kiley if not for the miscarriage that broke my heart. She has brought so much joy to our lives and keeps all of us laughing. I often think of the child I lost, and look at the only few baby pictures I have (2 ultrasound pictures) and know that some day we will finally meet.
be thank full that you have sister/brother ! love them until its too late and dont hate at them theyre are kids out there who wants sister or brother... i kinda feel sad tho that she misscaried the baby 😭
My mother had gone through a very similar situation... I remember I was very young, she put him in an empty envelope, and when I asked what to see him, she didn't let me... she cried a lot. She told my nanny to bury him next to the banana tree in our old house.. I still remember asking my mom repeatedly what was inside that envelope.. but after a few years I finally found out that it was my little brother.. I also remember watching as my nanny dug up the small little hole and putting him in there....now all I can do is wonder what it would be like if he was born..haha...
ILuvRainbows1158 It's fine 😊 When my mom had a miscarriage, she explained to me what it looked like (because I wasn't there when it happened). She said it's like when you crack an egg, except the yolk part was red. I imagine Sea-Sea looked similar since my mom also had a miscarriage around the same time.
Alexandria Hunt but doesn't it depend how many weeks? Idk sorry if I sound stupid but i thought when your like 12 weeks pregnant it looks like a little alien baby
There is a Woman who vlogs on UA-cam and had actually had about 3-5 miscarriage throughout the years. She has a boy and a girl, now she is pregnant and keeping the baby. I subbed to her it's really sad the first video I saw when she told her children that she was pregnant then told them they won't have sis/bro. So sad 😭
It is sad indeed. I've had to tell my 4yr. old daughter that there was no longer a baby in mommy's belly. She understood and automatically starting crying like I have never seen before. Cherish every moment.
I'm crying right now :( my mom did the same thing and it was as small as a bean so we named it bean, we pray where we barried it everyday :( I'm crying so hard 😭😭😭
That was heart breaking, but sadly beautiful. I have experienced a miscarriage myself. It's so difficult. Even years later it can sneak up & take you by surprise. The names on the toilet wall... Powerful & thought provoking. You see "such in such was here" all the time & you often think why would you write that, assuming it's the authors name. Losing a baby in such a public place at a most unexpected moment, what do you do? Nothing feels right. But naturally you feel the need to memorialise your little one somehow, some way... Considering 1 in 3 pregnancies end like this - very few people including women are aware of the statistics until their told by a doctor after. Loved the seahorse analogy. Thank you.
This us very inspiring.. I love how strong the family is, during hard times like this, mostly not many people can get through it easily.. I recommend this to many people who think they're parents are not brave enough..
For those saying that that baby she lost is only a "cell" and had no feeling let me tell you this: That "cell" has a heart probably not even after 12 days of being developed. God knew you before you were even born. That is a human. It has a life and a soul. The only difference between us is our maturity. If I took a born baby and cut it up infront of you, would that be wrong? I guess to you it's only okay when it's in someone else's body. Sick. Most of you don't even know how abortion works and how gruesome it is. Sick world we live in where society says it's okay to kill our future. Poor innocent babies.
The same ppl sending all the love for this vids & how touching it is... how sad... the same ppl waitin in line at the clinic getting their 4th abortion..
oh wow, now I can't stop crying. My husband and I completely understand, we lost our first child the same way. It's enough to rip your heart out. I feel so bad for anyone who has suffered losing a child.
It's so amazing, how understanding children can be. Maybe we shouldn't desperately try to hide everything from them, let them understand life, and in the process let them teach us what life is,too.
This is too sad! I have a friend who's mom miscarried 6 times but then had her and the seventh one and her sister on the eighth. I told her to tell her mom that she is so blessed to have her and her sis in her life!
35 years ago my girlfriend suffered a placental abruption with my eldest children, at 12 weeks gestation. Her doctor and almost every medical person in the hospital recommended termination. Only one elderly obstetrician supported us in saving the child. He was subsequently born healthy. My son has brought much joy to many peoples lives and is very cherished, now living a successful life. His mother and I are no longer together and I have had subsequent children that consider him very much their “big brother”. When a human life is lost at an early age the rest world will never know what they lost.
This makes me think of my little brother.........I was two years old when my mum had him... when I went to see my mum and him I saw my mum crying because............he had died........my parents never forgot about that and even though I was so young I've never forgotten it either.........may he rest in peace.
This is so sad, I feel so bad about the little girl, not knowing what's happening, and not being able to have the wonderful feeling of being an older sibling. :(
Oh my gosh...I felt so bad. I already bursted out in tears and I have no more left!💘- Who else saw the baby in carriage pass by? I. Felt. So. Sad! Their poor little angel. She's the only child now ;c
Kitties :D would've it matter? He knew his wife was in there and that's all he cared about. He wasn't peeping on anyone and you really think he was just going to leave his wife in there to deal with it herself
I recently lost my baby girl three weeks ago to a Incompetent cervix the pain women go through both emotionally and physically is something honestly indescribable for this mortal world, I wish no woman has to go through this pain.
Tombee 123 she just lost her unborn child, she was too depressed that all she thought about was her baby. She had no time to worry about washing hands. If you're human, you would understand.
I have a little sister and I am always so rude to her but now I realise that I am lucky thank you mom and dad for giving me the most wonderful gift my life and my sisters
Sadly, healthy babies are flushed down the toilet every day. "In 2013, 664,435 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC. The abortion ratio was 200 abortions per 1,000 live births. Jan 6, 2017" Those numbers don't include the out of office abortion medication. (US numbers only) Conversely, Americans adopt about 135,000 kids per year including inter-family adoptions and out of country adoptions.
This is more depressing for my mom she had 12 miscarriages in a row and on the 13th try she got me. 14th another miscarriage. My mom is my hero she has done everything for me. I love my mom

Just stating because A LOT of people in the comments were confused. It is pretty self-explanatory though (even noted in the description). :)
Ya it happened to my cousin really close to her being ready to give birth... it was really sad

So I was already sad but when I saw that the mom wrote "sea sea was here - 2015" I was heartbroken, such a tragic but beautiful story 😔
I'm glad they put that in there. It added a great deal more humanity and dignity to what happened. Shame the next occupant of that stall won't really understand the gravity of that message. I won't look at bathroom graphiti the same way again.
At first I thought the lady shouting in the phone was the pregnant one..

Abortions aren't common or easy to do so not that many children are given into an abortion. Its mostly adoptions.
Kari_Haruna Abortion "In 2013, 664,435 legal induced abortions were reported to the CDC. The abortion ratio was 200 abortions per 1,000 live births. Jan 6, 2017"

+Mary M - The CDC reports that early medical abortions (abortion pill/morning after pill) accounted for 22.2% of abortions in 2013.
Oniscia Bruno same, I'm gonna adopt so I do t have to go through childbirth pain
Powerful. The kindness of strangers, the love between the wife and husband and the resilience of the child. May Sea-Sea RIP
I didn't understand until they said "well we can't send her off flushing..." THATS SO SCREWED UP!!!!!!
XXx_Wolfy_xXX jr why
XXx_Wolfy_xXX jr
Omg same.
But how is it bad?
Kari_Haruna because she would end up in a mixture of pee and poo from strangers
Ok NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WOULD FLUSH HER DOWN BUT STILL THAT SCRWED UP
XXx_Wolfy_xXX jr well they don't want to grab her bloody corpse out of the toilet. Of course it's messed up. But they really didn't have any other choice. Sadly nature's way of saying something's not right. RIP to all miscarriaged/stillborn babies
Deb bie just because some one miscarried their baby does not mean they are not qualified or not right for raising a baby
Meg likes Tacoz I don't think that's what she talking about when she says right, I think she means health wise at least hopefully, because otherwise that's just stupid thinking.
Deb bie that's not true. My cousin had 4 miscarriages until she had her baby. Not true at all.
I'm pretty sure she meant that something isn't developing properly with the baby.
Deb bie You don't kill a baby, you kill a very little cell that dosent even know it exists
The moral of this short film:
No matter how many years you study french... you will never understand
Quebec French is a dialect of its own.

Peash The An Cermet
MAYBE, they meant seeing others sad/in pain helped them realize they aren't alone in what they're going through and that helped them a bit?
Such a great job capturing the emotions of the father. Often times, they're not thought of when a woman has a miscarriage
I've watched so many of these videos, I'm dead inside, so I didn't cry.

I remember breaking into tears when I lost my little brother Reggie, I relate to the little girl and the mom.
congratulations on the beautiful film.
That husband is amazing. He was so supportive of her😊
I'm crying right now :( my mom did the same thing and it was as small as a bean so we named it bean, we pray where we barried it everyday :( I'm crying so hard 😭😭😭
God bless Bean. We love you, Angel! Live happily in Heaven.💞💝💖💕👣💝💕👌💖
kaitlyn i just read your post. I pray for happiness and peace for you and your mom
I pray for you.
Not a single person washed their hands in this film lol
Yeah especially the little girl at the end after she flushed the toilet the parents didn’t remind her to wash her hands 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you.
it touched my heart.
I love my mom dad. thank you for everything.
This us very inspiring.. I love how strong the family is, during hard times like this, mostly not many people can get through it easily..
I recommend this to many people who think they're parents are not brave enough..
Thank god for people like the information lady. They are the compassionate ones who brighten the darkest times of our lives.
Amen to that
Thank you
The same ppl sending all the love for this vids & how touching it is... how sad... the same ppl waitin in line at the clinic getting their 4th abortion..
What's the song that plays after the Dad leaves the bathroom
InkyTheFox really? What's wrong with you?
Seriously they just asked a question you don't need to be mean
Silver Fox lol imagine if that's the name of the song
XD
InkyTheFox I don't understand what I did wrong
This is so heartbreaking, but everyone is comforting each other and it makes me feel some pride
This is excellent. I hadn't heard of the film's director before. Now I'm going to search for more of his work.
It broke me when she flushed
Dad... stop cutting the onions.
oh wow, now I can't stop crying. My husband and I completely understand, we lost our first child the same way. It's enough to rip your heart out. I feel so bad for anyone who has suffered losing a child.
The older woman was so kind. 💜 And I also love how you make the videos in different languages.
Well don't read the comments while watching the video..
1:02 SHE DIDNT WASH HER HANDS !
Jasmine Smith Okay?..
Jasmine Smith would you wash your hands after losing a baby - that didnt even get to be born? That didnt get to take a breath or experience our world?
emily Emily Rattan she wasn't talking about her dipshit
emily Emily Rattan Yes
Jasmine Smith lollolollloool
It's so amazing, how understanding children can be. Maybe we shouldn't desperately try to hide everything from them, let them understand life, and in the process let them teach us what life is,too.
This is too sad! I have a friend who's mom miscarried 6 times but then had her and the seventh one and her sister on the eighth. I told her to tell her mom that she is so blessed to have her and her sis in her life!
Omg these Allergies😢😂
RIP Sea-Sea :(
This made me cry that lady was so kind
35 years ago my girlfriend suffered a placental abruption with my eldest children, at 12 weeks gestation. Her doctor and almost every medical person in the hospital recommended termination. Only one elderly obstetrician supported us in saving the child. He was subsequently born healthy. My son has brought much joy to many peoples lives and is very cherished, now living a successful life. His mother and I are no longer together and I have had subsequent children that consider him very much their “big brother”. When a human life is lost at an early age the rest world will never know what they lost.
Ohhhh the cashier lady at the store nononono 😣😖
I don't get it! Did the baby get flushed or what?
This makes me think of my little brother.........I was two years old when my mum had him... when I went to see my mum and him I saw my mum crying because............he had died........my parents never forgot about that and even though I was so young I've never forgotten it either.........may he rest in peace.
This is so sad, I feel so bad about the little girl, not knowing what's happening, and not being able to have the wonderful feeling of being an older sibling. :(
how sad...
I have no idea why I'm crying in the club right now
It's so horrifying to go through. Very good short film.
lost my baby for two month ago in the same way this feeling is..... i can´t find the right words..... it hurts a lot every day
Oh My God :0
I just HAVE to point this out
*The lady didn't wash her hands at start*
This really hit me, I felt so sorry for that poor family
Why is the father allowed to be in the woman's bathroom?
Unicloud ;-; well, I wouldn't say it is allowed, but I think in special circumstances (miscarriage) no one would mind
this is m&m mcflurry worthy glad i ate it to this video.
That tag on the wall at the end hit me really hard.
Oh my gosh...I felt so bad. I already bursted out in tears and I have no more left!💘-
Who else saw the baby in carriage pass by? I. Felt. So. Sad! Their poor little angel. She's the only child now ;c
ok, sad, yes, but he still walked into the ladies restroom...
Awkward Forever7 because he already feared the worst I mean if you really loved someone you would do anything for them
iris olivas walking in the women's toilet? Too much
Lord Tachanka it's just the woman's toilet and no one was there. How is it too much?
iris olivas he didn't know no one was in there before he walked in
Kitties :D would've it matter? He knew his wife was in there and that's all he cared about. He wasn't peeping on anyone and you really think he was just going to leave his wife in there to deal with it herself
"She lost her in the toilet" of you think about it if she didn't have a miscarriage it sounds funny 😂 Just trying to make people laugh :)
this film really got me in tears. I literally have tears dripping off my face!
The fathers face melting when they exited the bathroom to get the mom under ware killed me
Beautiful funeral.
I have never seen a pregnant woman in public never
What's Up? What?? Go to South Carolina. When I visited the mall in Greenville, every woman, man, and child I saw there was pregnant with twins.
What's Up?
Same.
Unless your skinny enough to be a model and still pregnant.
I recently lost my baby girl three weeks ago to a Incompetent cervix the pain women go through both emotionally and physically is something honestly indescribable for this mortal world, I wish no woman has to go through this pain.
This makes me cry because my brothers twin was a miscarriage and I feel really bad
would it be funny if the toliet got choked and overflow?
Ilsunny Lo no it wouldn't have some respect
Ilsunny Lo
Welcome to dark humor!
(Prepare for 'Have some respect!" Comments)
eww she didn't wash her hands 1:00
InkyTheFox if you think not washing your hands is socially acceptable then you are the fool ser.
InkyTheFox your god damn stupid if you don't think washing hands is important
Tombee 123 she just lost her unborn child, she was too depressed that all she thought about was her baby. She had no time to worry about washing hands. If you're human, you would understand.
Kimi Reyes they are talking about the god damn woman in the beginning
InkyTheFox god damn no
that's so sad. it really makes me appreciate my mom and dad a little more.
I have a little sister and I am always so rude to her but now I realise that I am lucky thank you mom and dad for giving me the most wonderful gift my life and my sisters
Your videos are so inspiring. I can never imagine what that would feel like
What the wee girl did at the end broke my heart xxxxx
I feel so sorry for all the family's that this has happened to and I pray for you all
Wow...this is so touching and powerful.
My little brother was a miscarriage but now I'm so grateful that I've finally got a little sister named Ruby
What a beautiful life affirming (in all it's stages) little film!
That elder woman made me tear up a bit...
Anyone knows what song is being played at the end?
Sadly, healthy babies are flushed down the toilet every day.
"In 2013, 664,435 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC. The abortion ratio was 200 abortions per 1,000 live births. Jan 6, 2017"
Those numbers don't include the out of office abortion medication. (US numbers only)
Conversely, Americans adopt about 135,000 kids per year including inter-family adoptions and out of country adoptions.
7:59,
Store clerk: "when your done with this all, can you re arrange them for us? Ya know, sense you messed them up?
