I've just made this roll cake today and while I must say that it took me a lot of time, it was definitely worth it! The texture of the sponge was so moist and overall light. I followed the recipe completely, but did put in more flour, but it was still great. Thank you for this one :)

I’m coeliac and have adapted several of your cakes and every one of them have been fantastic, really, you would never know they were gluten free, they stay moist and taste beautiful. I’ve just made this Swiss roll, it’s the best one I’ve ever tasted. I just hope at some point you can get round to doing a chocolate version . Even my grandchildren love them and they’re not gluten free

Hi Fiona! Custard would be amazing! I haven't got a recipe to share myself just yet but I think any recipe will be fine just make sure it's on the slightly thicker side (more of a filling texture) so that it sets up nicely :D
Thank you for sharing this delicious cake roll recipe 🙏🏽 I have a question, about the moistness of the cake after setting in the fridge overnight. Is it normal after unwrapping the roll from plastic, the texture on top of the cake is moist to the touch? I’m used to the regular cake texture, which is usually dry to the touch. I’m not sure if it’s too moist. I sprayed my baking pan with baking spray and played parchment paper on top, and then sprayed on top of the parchment paper again before pouring the cake batter into it. Do you recommend this method? I appreciate your advice

The Swiss roll is definitely on my Bucket...I mean baking list..But I need a little more confidence to do it..hopefully I'll watch this video a few times over and be able to Pro it on the first try!!!
Haha it is on the slightly more challenging side, but I believe in you!!! And if you don't get it perfect the first time around just know that rolling a Swiss roll took me a few tries to get it right - I had some major fails! xD But hopefully all the tips in the video will help :) enjoy!
