I got in to the game and was doing terrible on my first few runs and I was thinking they switched up the default controls. redownloaded Hades Jumped into a game, beat the boss and that reignited my reflexes. Went back to Hades 2 and started kicking tail so might help returning players. Quick notes. 1. 4:35 a better way to say that is centaur hearts raises your max health for that run only, I'd be worried people could think permanently is you know permanent not just for the one run. 2. 4:40 That is not a upgrade for an existing boon those arrows mean a higher chance of rare and epic boons due the other symbol: Skull under the boon means a guardian mini boss 3. 4:45 Door with bag you said was gold is a shop to spend gold, gold door is the left one at 5:01 a coin symbol 4. At 8:48 The white line you talked about does not show up at the start it's one of the first few incantations you can unlock in the hub world cauldron.
The daggers carried me through and let me finish w runs you want that hammer and get final attack does 300% bonus damage in an area with posideons attack buff this combo with freeze on a cast is nuuuuuts shreded all 4 bosses
@@eloelo6944 so when you hold your attack cast tou slow down you can use those moemnt to sprint without letting go of the hold because it will automatically refil up to the max hold. And when you find the right opportunity dash in and release your hold. Then you can land some more attacks and hold again to escape. I recommend getting hestia's regen because you can always get more health later but it's the only regen mana one without continuos conditions 'ie stanidn in cast, being near weak foes, standing sill for one second, prime cast Everytime you run out, or use your attacks and get it in water bubble." When you get deadelus its better to get the striking from behind and 300% but the +5 powere for using omega cast is good too can power up to 4k damage especially in the chronos boss. So my set up is Attack : Aphrodite or Hera Special: can be whatever makes your comfortable Cast: hestia' fun combo you can have most cast as a base but you can put demeter cyclone on top and you can use (zeus, hades or hestia) lob cast so you cast has three effects on it. Sprint: can be anything demeter, zeuse, Poseidon, and hera dashes are good apollo also works. Mana regen: hestia she top no cap most consistent and as i said before dosent have anyweird conditions attached. If you need a specail build or an aspect with aister blades build just at me.
Cast is SO necessary act 2 with daggers. I resisted learning to use it, but it's so necessary. I also underrated buffing cast. Like half the hammers for daggers are game changing as well. @@eloelo6944
The Sister Blades with your special doing backstab damage and the other upgrade increasing backstab damage by 200% is actually a viable alternative to melee (these are daedalus hammer upgrades)....There are times where I would just build a Cast oriented build with the blades with all the elemental DoT so you can kite very effectively
Great tips video, really. I'm sure I'm further than you were at the time of this video. I haven't beaten the depths' final boss yet but he seems easy for my builds. I met him 2 times while I was grinding my keepsakes thus without my preferred boons' builds and I almost killed him. I also started to wander around, collect and die at the surface and I'm one of these millions of vets of Hades 1. Nevertheless, you still taught me 1 or 2 very important things I didn't find out.Thanks a million for that! By the way, your video is as clear, straightforward and nice to watch as usual. Congrats.
also if you just wanna win take the skull with alot of mana and mana regeneration and just force the game to give you aphrodites special enhancement and upgrade it alot if you have the luck also get the wepon enhancement that makes the specials blades bounce back you will deal 900-1800 damage per special depending on the pormegranets you get
You can reduce damage pretty well if you combine some Haephaestus boons with Demeter. Aphrodite can get you a boon that fills your HP bar to full when moving to the next encounter (provided your HP stays above a certain level). There is also an enhancement (I dont remember the technical term) that reduces all damage taken to 15 if you have 6 Earths. Dodge is a little too RNG and so is Apollo's Daze, but they are killer if you have some hefty defense. I would also point out that the Axe can block, as can the knife and sickle if you have the correct Aspect.
I loved the first one and am getting this in EA, but I'll wait till it's fully released before I play so I don't burn out then the game is released. Thanks for this
I forgot to pump psyche into my grasp so I’ve been sitting at 10 trying to beat Scylla with 650+ psyche just sitting in my pocket. Now I know why I felt so flimsy lol
Dang... Hate the daggers? I can't imagine. That special gets crazy with the hammer that make them return or shoot in a straight line. Can also get debuffs on it pretty easily while powering up attack. Top two weapon for me, though the fact but everyone agrees says great things about balance in this game.
I really love what they did with the second game, but i gotta say there are just too many annoying enemies. The enemy that just screams at you and melts thru your health, the boss that does the samt thing but uses needles... Its just not that great of an idea tbh. Also... turning into a sheep is more annoying than difficult.
I think you should use your cast more frequently. It helps a lot and the distance helps to not take so much damage.

How do yall use the daggers I end up dying act 2 with them. Playing around the special on axe/staff feels a lot better tbh

I haven't played but a few hours so far but did they remove backstabs? I haven't noticed it say it or a damage increase for being behind the enemy?
Someone tell the devs to make the cursor 10x the size and bright pink. Spend the entire endgame looking for the mouse.
Doubt they would bother since the game was mainly designed with a controller in mind.
