AP4D Symposium | Supporting Pacific Youth, Civil Society and Media

Young people, civil society and media are prominent among the interconnected factors shaping the future of the Pacific region. Recognising the important contributions that these three groups can make, there is a role for Australia to support these vital sectors to build a peaceful, resilient and prosperous region.
This Symposium launched the AP4D paper 'What does it look like for Australia to support Youth, Civil Society and Media in the Pacific’ - the result of four months of consultations with almost 60 experts from Australia and across the Pacific. The paper identifies opportunities for Australian engagement in these important sectors.
