Simply beautiful! Full of reminders of why I love to canoe in the wilderness. I'm new to your channel and REALLY appreciate your written description of what you're seeing and doing. It really enriches the experience of watching your video. Thank you!
Thank you for such kind comments. We are always pleased to hear from someone who enjoys the wilderness, too … and lovely to have the feedback about the descriptions. Glad you found us and thank you for the encouragement! Take care & Cheers! 😊
That marsh looks like a Nice place to paddle! Hmmm... using a SPOON to flip eggs! and didn't break ONE!. I gotta try that. I guess the secret is to is to keep them low so they dont pop the yolks. Methimques a larger tarp would have been better - dun thet thar, with the canoe, too, but I had a 10 X 12 tarp. Nice trip!! Oh, I watched this just after lunch and you folks made me HONGREEE agin! God Bless. Jerry

Hey Dan, Nancy,,, awesome little getaway,,, I enjoy using the freestyle so much,,, I’ll have to try the 8 panel rectangle. I’ve been stuck on the large firepit.. Your French press looks like the self reliance outfitters model,,, yes,,??? Blessings to Y’all,,, Joshua
Hi Andrew, You have a great eye for details. We think it was sheep laurel which is common in the areas where we typically travel. Not sure we’ve ever seen Mountain Laurel but will have to keep an eye out when we get back down into the Appalachians. Hope you are well & thanks for watching! Cheers!
I had a feeling once I saw the lilly pads, I'd see a frog- in this case, a chubby little tadpole, too, 🐸lol! I admire your outdoorsmanship, fine cooking and relaxing videos, my friend ❤️
Hi Anthony… always great to hear from you & hope you are keeping well. The amphibians are fascinating creatures. We love to see (and hear) them. Thank you for the kind comment - very much appreciated. Thank you for watching & Cheers!
Wow! Wind AND threatening skies? 😂 Try camping 24/7 for over a year in the Scottish Highlands with every weather type you can imagine and worse. That's what I've been doing, still am.
Hi Graeme, Happy to know that you enjoyed it.. we are glad to share:) The camera/audio is nothing special… just a iphone xs (admittedly we really struggled with the wind noise and eventually used a woollen sock to try and dampen the reverberation). Thank you for watching and be well. Cheers!
Using a spoon to flip the eggs! Genius!
Multi-use … helps keep the pack weight down!😊
I'm hungry! Awesome!
Thanks, Steve! Cheers!
As I sit here watching this video, I realized that I’m drinking my coffee from my “Got Kettles?” coffee mug. No wonder I enjoy these videos so much 😆

Hi Josh, it’s a Snow Peak. Enjoy your FreeStyle! What a piece of equipment! Always nice to hear from you. Take care!
That purple flower was interesting. It reminded me of Mountain Laurel, from a structural point of view.
At the end I smiled and gently laughed with her.Wonderfull.
