Hi my lovelies, today I’ll be diving deeper into some of the newest fragrance releases of late 2022 and early 2023. There are some amazing new perfumes out, others on the other hand weren’t 100% my cup of tea. We are seeing some interesting trends in the world of perfumery, and this video will help you figure out which scents you may want to add to your fragrance collection, and which scents may want to save your money on. Your description of Amouage is so exact! I love my bottle and all I spray is literally 2-3 sprays and the ppl go WILD! Everyone ask what am I wearing and I conveniently can’t recall, lol.
Guidance is a masterpiece. Period. ;-)

The amouage description is so correct, it reminds me a bit of dior hypnotic posion in the drydown, thats why its nostalgic

I wish I liked the Kayali Yum. It smelled so good when I first sprayed it. And then just turned into baby powder on my skin. *sigh* I tried it several times too, and nothing changed. Just a non-descript sweet baby powder. Nothing ‘yum’ about it. Feel like the marketing was very misleading. And it disappeared in an hour. Sad because the bottle was so so cute! 😭
I can’t figure out why I don’t get sweetness or fruit in Guidance. I really like it on paper.
Guidance has made me question how good do I shower lmao I keep scrubbing my neck and I swear after almost 48hrs that I wore it I still get whiffs of it!!!
The reviews I've heard on Guidance have been good. But THAT comparison😮🙊 I have not heard. I love a cherry note, but did we need another cherry scent?
Kayali Yum Pistachio is a 10/10 for me. It didn't start that way though. But I just went through my 2nd travel size and bought the 3.4 fl oz. It is SO GOOD!! I also bought the DUA Pistachio Gelato and that is fantastic to layer if I want to make it smell more thick and creamy lactonic (like how people probably thought Kayali would smell)
I am one who didn’t love Amouage Guidance on skin OR paper. I just don’t get it! To me, is smells like mosquito repellent. But, it is just as well I don’t care for it, since I can’t afford it anyway.🤷🏻♀ Valaya sounds intriguing, but again, the price. I will try a sample and if I love it I will get the travel size.

Love them both, I’ve just ordered Afnan mystique bouquet as an alternative to Valaya to spray more liberally, it’s supposed to be a 90% dupe
Room 1015 Cherry Punk is still the best cherry fragrance. And then DUA's Cherry Casino Elixir (i think it's called)... they both smell different but are better than all 3 of Tom Ford's Cherry fragrances. When I put price aside and just go by scent - I can't justify any Tom Ford's that I've tested. They either aren't that remarkable or I find them to be too much on me. And I like a stronger perfume, but don't wanna choke myself out either
I've been sleeping on Yum and Guidance because they seem overhyped. Your review has inspired me to go check them out.
I‘m so glad!! You definitely need to at least try them - and don‘t be fooled by just the initial opening! It gets sooo much better :)

I've been wearing this perfume for almost two weeks. I didn't get any compliments. I can't smell it on myself either. Is there a problem with me?😢
Guidance is truly nauseating to my nose😂. I think its the olibanum note because I love everything else in it😢

I absolutely hated Guidance at first sniff but this takes a bit. Several months after my sample now and I just bought the FB 😂

Would you say the yum gelato is more for women or unisex?
I'd say it does lean more traditionally feminine as it dries down fairly sweet/airy! But as its great for layering i could see it smelling delicious on a man as well!

I'm super-psyched YT recommended this video and I clicked on it! I enjoy the very real way you describe the fragrances -- no BS-like: "Picture this, you're on a warm tropical island beach and you're wearing a white bikini..." GAG lol, I had to unsubscribe from her channel (5 pts if you can guess who I'm talking about haha!).
