I, too, suffer with migraines and certain fragrances do trigger me. My suggestion for Guidance is for you to spray behind your knees or at your ankles only. This way, even in pants, you're getting wafts of it every now and then without it being so in your face. This really helps me with beast mode scents. ❤
Guidance is a BEAST! I sprayed way too much the first time I wore it out but now I scaled back with the sprays and its more than enough! It is a compliment getter!
I have an 8ml decant of Guidance and I feel like that will last me a lifetime because I am not reaching for it often but I like having it in my collection.

I have the same issue with some fragrances that are a little to thick for me and they make me a little sick. My trick for those are to spray on my legs, rather than my upper body. Works like a charm!
I bought a sample of Guidance recently and absolutely fell in 🩷 with this fragrance. It has quickly become my absolute favorite (along with Blanche Bete). I definitely need to purchase a full bottle. Looking forward to trying some of your other recommendations!! Thank you!

Lol I feel like the compliments, raving and praise Guidance gets is because of how strong it is that there’s no other choice but to smell it, attracting all the attention in a room. Some people just equate strong with good. I don’t think it’s for how it actually smells lol but I won’t say more about that 😅. If that’s your thing, I think it makes sense to buy Guidance. For me, I’m not going to struggle through something just because it’s loud so people comment on it 😭

It’s always a plus though when it’s both beautiful and loud 💙 anyways this is also subjective and my idea of beautiful is not everyone’s.

I actually wore Guidance today. I am glad I only have a decant. First time I smelled it I didn’t like it, smelled too much like BO. But then it changed to my nose, I am actually able to wear it now. I wanted a bottle for a while, now I am happy I didn’t get one. It’s way too strong and too sweet, it lingers the whole day. I can still smell it now faintly , whiffs come to me, 18 hours later. I think the decant is more than I can wear in the years to come, 2 sprays and is all good. I can understand where you’re coming from, it can give you a headache and csn be nauseating . I am glad you kept it honest, even though they sent it to you in PR, nice of them to do that
I have tried Guidance 3 times on paper and on my skin over several hours and am still baffled by how I am smelling dank dungeon when every UA-camr is smelling something beautiful 😢. I even stopped at the restaurant in Nieman Marcus to get a third party to sniff my wrist. Their puzzled face and immediate eyebrow crinkle followed by“I don’t know…” was enough to resolve it for me. I am done with that one and moving on to a different one my nose actually enjoyed.

It is a spiced pineapple/vanilla with a woody base. I swear I smell oud in it, but it's the addictive kind. This is a very good fragrance! And it's a cheapie 🥰 ... I'm also going to get Vanagloria & the new Le Labo Lavande very soon too! 😚

It feels absolutely suffocating to me and makes me nauseated as well 🤢 I really don’t get the hype. To me the opening smells sharp and metallic and then the dry down just like a stuffy, mature, cloyingly sweet mess. Sad cause I was hoping to enjoy what everyone else is describing 😢

I had a similar experience with Guidance! Glad I am not alone. Glad I purchased a decant before blind buying because I have mixed feelings about it’s smell. Only difference from your experience is that I got a what is that smell complains, no compliments, from two trusted loved ones that thought it odd since I always smell great lol 😂 👀 Guess it’s not for everyone 🤷🏻♀️ So safe to say I will stay away from Guidance from Amouage…I have never got complains from my fragrances so that was a sign this one is not for me.
I am also probe to headaches with some perfumes. I have found that decanting some in smaller sprayer bottle helps. It does not spray as much perfume. I do know what You mean, I also suffer with this!
Hello Hayley! I had the same experience from Guidance for almost 8 months. I kept testing it at home on myself and was afraid to wear it outside, as it was strong and nauseating to me too. One time, I finally wore it at work and was surprised how many compliments I got that time. When I wore it again, I got the same reaction….I’ve grown to like it over time and learned to deal with my issues with it….I do 1-2 sprays, on my back or back of the neck. Still not a big love but I’m more comfortable with it now.🥰
It’s insane right! The interesting this is… the people who tend to experience these same issues all want to wear the fragrance still. Which is why I get frustrated as I really like it. Compliments are insane right! I think I’ll be able to wear this when it gets a little cooler

Have you ever tried TRUSSARDI Sound of Donna?? It is a nutty/fruity fragrance that I absolutely adore! 🥰 and it's pretty cheap too. It smells like a more expensive fragrance to me. It's really nice. I love a good 🥜 nutty frag ☺️

Oh no!! It is very strong. I’d say cool weather and you could maybe layer it with a musk, a light vanilla or a light woody scent? Or, sell it on and buy something you love 💕

Guidance is so confusing! Some days I love it and want and want to sell all of my fragrances and make it my signature scent, then the next time I wear it it’s straight b.o. and I have to scrub it off 😆. It’s by far my most complimented bottle

I’m so disappointed! I’ve tried several different decants from a few different sources, so I know it wasn’t a bad sample. I guess it’s just a matter of my body chemistry. Such a disappointment!

Could it be that somthing in the notes that is triggering your reaction? I would try another fragrance with similar notes to see if there are the same results.

Love both of those! Guidance had to grow on me a teeny bit but I was intrigued first sniff!
Love this! I spray on the back of my neck instead of the sides or on my chest. That seems to help me too 🙏🏼

I have a decant of Guidance as well, and I get compliments every time I wear it. I layered it with Delina Exclusif, and it works beautifully together.

I agree on Guidance. It induced migraine on me. However, when my bf uses it, after 30 minutes, it was so beautiful on him.
I get migraines too and found bayn al asrar to be much more tolerable and i can wear it in the summer too.
A really interesting selection was it entre acte looked perfect for autumn ❤

Yeah I get it with Delina Exclusif too. I like the smell of both I just find it overpowering on myself
