- Testing the hydraulics on a towable trencher backhoe. This one has a few bad seals, which is allowing the oil to bypass the cylinder.
I have one of theae on order and have been binging all the videos I can find. This one video taught more about how these work than anything else i have watched .
Thanks, they are good little machines so long as you don't expect an excavator. They are slow, but better than a shovel. 😀
@@MuddFlappRanch oh, it will be all the things, tractor, excavator, grader, Crane, boat anchor.
You know the saying, when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
I see how it is to be used, and how little it takes to be abused.
JUST REBUILT THE MIDDLE CYLINDER ON MY HARBOR FREIGHT TRENCHER. I HAVE SEEN THEM REBUILT ON BIGGER EQUIPMENT, BUT NOT ON A SMALL CYLINDER BEFORE. I WISH I HAD WATCHED VIDEO. A LOT OF GOOD INFO.
THANKS
Paul Cantrell Thanks for the comment. I uploaded the actual repair video today. Thanks for commenting and subscribing.
Thanks for watching
Excellent! Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching
The hydraulics on mine stopped working . Fluid is good .....Any ideas?? Thanks good video.
I would verify the oil level first. Then I would check the suction (input) side of the pump.
i have the same problem. i drained the hydraulic tank and got a gallon of water as soon as i pulled the plug.the water will go to the bottom of the tank ,. i think iwill flush the system and use new oil and see if that works.i keep the machine covered. must be condensation.
Thanks for the videos you have good knowledge to share. I have a HF trencher how do I go about sizing 2 stick joystick control valve hoses and pump? Looking for smoother operation. Thank you in advance.
These little pumps have a hard time moving more than one cylinder at a time.
