That’s the time I found your channel Nils 😄 I was looking for a digger and this model was cheap. You had one of them. I was seriously thinking about it. Eventually I never bought it. You and others advised me against it. Eventually you sold yours as well and bought the mini excavator. I became convinced this was not the right choice for me. I eventually bought a small tractor and I am very happy with it. I have still got it. I can do a lot with it. Only it cannot dig. But no problem. It can do everything else I want and need. And the occasional time I need a digger, I rent it. With having a tractor, that is just very occasionally. The tractor is fitted with a front loader and lots of implements at the back. The perfect choice for me.

Yes some retro video used to make this one! Good that you didn’t buy one! A small tractor is much more useful as you say but it depends on what needs you have. For occasional digging, renting one is a good idea!

that machine is really good and powerful. now there is a new model that rotates 360 degrees, it is interesting because it has much more scope

It was the machine that started your UA-cam career! And yes it is pretty good for the price. The 360 degrees type should be even more useful and easy to switch between digging and transport mode. I would like to try it sometime.

I bought one of these last year. It still has the low lift issue even with the different cylinders. The arm design has changed to profiled plates so appears to be stronger than the SHS that was used before it was cheap does have some limitations as do all machines, but a lot better than a spade and shovel 🤣

Sure beats a spade and a shovel! Thanks for watching!

Good review. But this kind of machine is always a compromise with price and how smoothly you can use it comparing to real e.g. mini-excavator you have also. Hydraulic movable Rubber tracks and 360 degree upper carriage are just so convinient to work and operate in any place. I had 10 years ago really big backhoe mounted on my Valmet 4x4 tractor, the backhoe weight was 1700kg and more when adding bucket and all oil etc. Real monster backhoe. But the smoot usage was poor, needs a lot of space to operate and the bachhoe was so powerfull that my Valmet tractor 4500kg operating weight was too light. Now the much smaller kobelco mini excavator 1750kg can do same work as the 4500+1700 kg monster because learned to use it.

Thanks! Yes it has to work as a package and sometimes even though the parts to make it good is there it just isn’t working! I think that a 360 degree version of this would be fun to try, it sure would work better. But then again, it’s not so cheap anymore!

I think it is way better than a regular shovel and would be good for small jobs and you don't have the money for a track machine.

Yes It can be useful and it is the cheapest option.
