He's a great storyteller, and he's had lots of experience telling stories. Do something for awhile and you end up becoming proficient at it; Stop trying to mystify the guy whose message in every vlog is that he's just a normal guy who tries hard and achieves success.

One thing that I love about Casey, is that he always films it. We can actually "see" the experience as well as hearing about it.
Just when you thought Casey couldn't even be more of "the man", that last minute really sealed it. And this was when he wasn't "too rich" either. He was well off but 90+% of people in his position would've probably kept the money.

This was incredible, can't even imagine being in that situation. I'd probably die of a panic attack. Darkness gives me anxiety, and being there, in a deadly hurricane, can't see shit, no one there to save me, if I do get in trouble, all alone. It is scary to even think of. I am happy you are okay.

The coolest thing about your videos is that you basically have really good footage from things from a while ago and it’s almost like when you filmed it you expected to make a bunch of stories about your life when you were older

Casey, if you're going to post text on the screen, at least keep it up for more than a split second. I'm watching on a tablet, and I can't go back very easily without going back like 20 to 30 seconds. So trying to go back to see what you wrote there and then catch it before it blinks off the screen has been very frustrating. Great video. For me, this brings me a lot of memories of when I was in hurricane sandy. I ended up losing my house, then finding a new one 4 years later. Im doing better now but still remember going thru everything

sad to see that Bently go under :( I live down here in Louisiana, we just got done with all of this flooding. Whenever I got into my boat to go help rescue people, I couldn't believe the amount of luxury cars people just left out in the streets for the flood to just eat them. very sad to see

Good for you Casey. so many people had no heart during that storm. Im from Long Island so I witnessed it terribly because I live on a canal. My family and I were blessed with the gift of not getting flooded, losing power, heat and electricity. And we were the only people blessed with that on my block. We had to take in my aunt, uncle and two cousins, my friend, her two sibling and parents and mt other friends who left during the storm to go back to there house but the dad got separated for his wife and one of his daughters but he still had the other. the mom and newborn daughter ended up staying at my house overnight. also there was 2 houses on my block the were burned down.

I don't know how you can make video this good. Every videos i watch from you are so good quality and a poetic adventure. You seem to know how to keep your privacy plus you have the patience to wait the good moment to show us something. You could have put this on youtube the day after but no, you sold the footages, use the money for people in need and took the time to think about the events.
The way Casey detailed it felt like an Special Epic 30 Minute Episode of a show. I like that.
When the hurricane hit I was under going Chemotherapy for my third month in a row. I also was attending college at a Baptist university, and they announced that a relief effort group would be going up to help and they were taking volunteers to go. They weren't leaving until Dec 4th and I hoped to be done with chemo by then. I finished chemo a week before the trip left from SC and I made it up there for three weeks to help! We were in Jersey cleaning out and clearing houses that still had standing water 2 months after the storm. I'll never forget the impact it had on my life. Thanks for the story!

I remember Hurricane Sandy vividly, at the 10th floor of the apartment and being like 3 or 4, just watching down below the water rising (I was in the MIDDLE of Brooklyn) and just throwing up and crying. When people watch the video they get a feel for how scary it was, but you had to be there. This was up there with a building across the street going up in giant flames.

I'm sorry you had to experience that. My worst experience/ most scary experience is Hurricane Katrina. I legit thought I was going to die. Water was rising over 7 feet high and more. Building and houses were collapsing. People were drowning, dying of thirst, or dying of hunger. We had brace people that set out with boats to help though. I could go on and on with the deviation but I don't want to set a bad mood for anyone who is reading this.

Casey, I remember that night well too. I was visiting a friend in long island and we drove out to Dune Road. The wind and rain was nothing for me being from Florida. But when the road started to flood from the storm surge it was a but disconcerting to say the least, especially since we were in a low to the ground VW Bug.

I came back to this video after the rainfall the other day to compare since it’s been over 10 years. I was living on the 13th floor of my building in the marlboro projects of Brooklyn and I remember feeling the building swaying during the eye of the hurricane. You’re one of those crazy white people that be out in any weather. But glad you did because I love your videos!

I was really young on hurricane sandy, but I do remember going outside for some reason. All that I remember from that horrific day was things flying everywhere and my parents sheltering us from it. We just wanted to go and see the river, but had to turn back. Definitely one of the scariest moments of my life here in NYC

I went on a cruise during sandy boat sailed by the boat at some points were rocking violently when I got back I saw a crane that fell down and the safety bubble over the shuttle on the intrepid was torn I did community service by cleaning people's houses out on Staten Island one house was missing a basement wall and another was fifty feet away from its foundation
