Take the time to correct the banana shape of the body first. It requires some slicing and dicing, but it’s soooooo worth the extra effort.

I have built every single foose designed revelle model that haas been released plus every car a second time with more custom work done to them like lower roof even more lower the cars suspension more frag slicks stuck up under it tubbed out but still slammed to the ground love these kits so many potential options to build but alot of the jaard custom work is already done for you in the kits like frenching in the lights chop the roof section the body ect

I found that soaking chrome parts in LA Awesome removes that residual undercoat glossiness. Hope this helps

I am assuming that you used the chisel blade from the scribing tool to remove the ejection pin mark from the headliner.
It would have been nice to see how that was removed. Hopefully, you will show how that is done in a future video.

No, I just sanded them off, which is why I didn't think to show that. I guess that would have been helpful. I have used it on some ejection pin marks in the past but most of them are concave and have to be sanded or filled and then sanded.

I couldn’t get past the banana shape of the Revell ‘67 Coronet body. I had to deal with that first. I spent the better part of two evenings correcting the banana shape.

When you spend the extra time working on (fixing) the things you want, it does pay off because you are the one that will be looking at it and noticing it forever.

I just picked up one of the Tamiya handles and the chisel blade. What size scribing blade do you recommend? They're so expensive, I don't want to get the whole set, just one or two at the most.

Yes, they are expensive but great tools. I have the 0.3, 0.2, and 0.1 engraving blades. The 0.3 is too large and the 0.1 is very fine and fragile. I already broke it. The 0.1 could be useful for high-end cars where their panel lines are finer but if you were going to only buy one, I would get the 0.2. I find the 0.2 is the one I use almost exclusively.
