Just subed. Im disabled and been think of doing stuff like this as i can't stand for long. Thanks to your vids and links to all the stuff you use i will be doing stuff like this. Thanks and keep up the amazing work.
I had this exact model as a kid. Painted mine cherry red, modified the hood and took the motor from another model, an old Thunderbird pro stock drag car, swapped the wheels and drag radials, modified the hood for the blower to stick out of. The Thunderbird I got when I was like 8 or 9 and when I tried making that car I lost some parts and it wasn't able to be finished it, which made it perfect for taking parts from. Wish I still had the truck though, got thrown out when I moved from my parents house.
Such detail... amazing.... I used to build models before I joined the Air Force, and I thought I was being detailed by running spark plug wires and brake lines.. You shame me sir.. LOL Your build quality is stunning. One of the best!
Hi Tom! it's still me, your number one fan! I wanted to tell you that a year ago I came across one of your videos by chance and I realized that modeling would be my hobby! I thank you for your videos that every week have taught me more and more useful techniques and tricks and from the first kit thrown away, I arrived at a good level of painting assembly and cleaning! thanks tom! keep it up!
I just opened the box to build this for my nephew. I was looking for ideas for detailing it since the kit is pretty minimal on detail. I thought it would be a nicer kit for being a Foose. But you did a beautiful job on it. Hope mine turns out as nice. Thanks for sharing your talent & tips with us. New subscriber here 🇺🇸
So, I have been watching you for a year or so now, and this popped up in my feed so I watched it. Your production is so much better now, not that this was bad. You have not done much with engines for some tome either. Anyway, it was fun to see one of your earlier builds.
I’ve watched a dozen of your builds, and every time I’m amazed with your ideas to insane details. Reminds me of my dad building his 1955 Ford Crown Victoria. If you take build request, I’d sure like to see you build one..
Are you using thin sheets of ever green on the under carriage painted black? How about the wheel wells? Looks like it a little bit of so how did you achieve the curves?
Wow! Really nice job! I didn't realize that there were Foose kits out there. I've been a fan of his work for a long time. Even before 'OverHauling'. I especially like the gunmetal accents. I think you should have done the window trim gunmetal as well, instead of bear metal foil (although you did do really good with it). I built a F-100 kit (not Foose) years ago, but went completely the opposite direction. I call it, "Left & Forgotten". Banged up, rust bucket with the engine & transmission gone, windshield busted out, front wheels missing and gauge cluster gone and holes in the seat and bed. Poor ole thing is sitting on rocks and next to a three strand barbed wire fence that needs repairs too. There are a few things I need to do to it that I didn't think about till recently, then I think it's time to sell her after the September model show I'm entering it into. Anyway, great job. Thanks for sharing your work.
i just bought this same model kit, but let me just say i don’t have all of the cool gadgets like airbrushes, i was using paints and paintbrushes and i’m not a fan of how mine came out
I love the way you built this the colors were so great together mine is army green with so black if I had it to do over all the chrome would be matte black with the green maybe a restore one day though great kit
Cool built! I have a question, you say you build kits for other people, but how does that work because i have a 1971 plymouth gtx that i cant get done. Ive done the interior but chassis and bodywork are an issue. The body is straight with no flaws of what i see. The chassis is been painted and detailed but the suspension is not attached. You could just paint over the paint drom the chassis.
I would just like you ask is the American bar different to other bars? Because when I went to school a bar was 14 psi I14.5038 psi to be more precise) So 1.5 bar would be nearer to 21 psi.
powerstructured based on the bag, try scaleproduction.de Maybe a link in the description to them since he said he would link the parts and tools, but I didn’t check. Good luck!
One day like around xmas time would you set up a car lot or room showing all of ur builds, that u still got n ur possession?, that would b cool for everyone to enjoy, thanks dude u are one of the best, but there are other builders I watch also...rew
Hi Tom. I've just watched this build again after telling a guy on Twitter about it. I still absolutely love this, it's still my favourite of all your builds. One question, which might seem strange. When you spray, especially the clear, how much do you open the airbrush? All the way, half way or what?! I'd really like to know. Thanks.
Look for places that do wood boat models. You'll find they'll sell scale model planks like those you can cut to size and even steam curves into to get around bends.

You should look into scal rc cars there a bit bigger and you can drive them when dun I find it fun to build and to drive!

Built mine in a beautiful metallic purple and accented everything in gold and dipped the frame n some other stuff in chrome. Came out SO beautiful

I am just always amazed on how much detail you put into these models! Great job man!!
One of my favourite trucks. You knocked it out of the park. Great work

Holy! you are kicking ass and asking questions later...just amazing! thanks for the video.
Really nice build.
I've built a couple of these trucks and never thought white would be a good color choice for it, UNTIL now.
GREAT JOB 👍
I absolutely love your videos. they have helped me alot. Thankyou for uploading them and the truck looks fantastic.
Did the same one in lime ice. The color really pops.
かっこいいです。F100、作りたくなりました。部屋の本棚にコレがあったら、とても素敵ですね。

I just bought this and a 10 for my first model kits and i didnt think of buying glue or those clipper things

That'd be "Foose" as in Chip Foose, not Fosse. Bob Fosse was a famous director, dance choreographer. Keep building!
Richard Williams yes. I didn't catch the dang auto spell correct. I'll fix it. Thanks for catching it.
Water bottle caps are awesome for holding reservoirs of paint!!
How did you do the windshield wiper arms ?
Excellent job ! Nice color ! Thanks
i just bought this same model kit, but let me just say i don’t have all of the cool gadgets like airbrushes, i was using paints and paintbrushes and i’m not a fan of how mine came out
Looks beautiful! Another fantastic build for you collection!
I'm doing the same model. The white looks really good on it. Nice looking build.
Did you paint the seats white or did you leave the bare plastic?
I love the way you built this the colors were so great together mine is army green with so black if I had it to do over all the chrome would be matte black with the green maybe a restore one day though great kit
Is there a benefit to not using the cap on the airbrush? I see some people using them and not others like on the video...
question.. why lay the silver if you cover it with white? maybe its hard to see in the video but what does this accomplish?
A lighter/brighter basecoat for the white. This gives a brighter/lighter white
Absolutely exquisite. Congrats on your monster skills.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! IT LOOKS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Cool built!

This video was done a while ago. I no longer build for others. I have way to much work currently :D
Where did the seat belts come from? Mine didn't come with seatbelts.
Would love to see a special chop and channel of this model. Have you ever done one?
Can you give me measurements from center of wheel well to center of the other wheel well
PERFEITO
Totally awesome video !!! Does anyone know of websites , or a manufacturer for all the aftermarket wheels and tires for these models???
Great build wish mine looked as good as yours
Sweet Build!

you're correct
@@TheScalemodelingChannel BTW I did like your finished model.
What did you use for inside of bed is that actual wood pieces
Wood sticks from the hobby shop
The trim pieces also that are silver
First video I found on it got the idea the other day and ran across your video by accident
Question.... Do you or anyone remember a 1960's Studebaker kit where you actually had separate pistons , rocker arms etc? Hard build for an 8 y/o
Great build and a really excellent video of the process
I'm working on the F-100 right now
Wow that was cool. Thanks for sharing. Great work.
Great build very impressive
What color did you do over the primer before the top coat
1:55
What
@@justinharlick5688 it is shown in the video at 1:55
Great build man... I love the all the detail on it.
Quick question, when you did the engine did you sand it, prime it, then paint, or did you put straight paint on it?
Little to no sanding. Then primer and paint
Ok thanks I’m doing a model to and needed that thank you!
Which wheels did you use? They look fantastic
Some from scaleproduction.de don’t think they still make them
Did the kit come with those wood planks for the bed or is that something you added?
I added those
@@TheScalemodelingChannel why am I NOT surprised? 🤯🤯👍🏼
What are you using for the box floor? Real wood? Could you share the link to that product?
Yes real wood. Bought it at a local hobby shop 10 years ago. So no links, sorry
How much would you sell a truck like this one for?
would of like to seen the motor too.
I could be wrong but from 3:48 onwards. The engine is shown quite a lot in the video
Very nice work !
Great build, I'm inspired to build one, awesome color choices
love this color nice build i want to build mine soon as i get my current project done its the 67 pro street max rat chevelle
How and why does the paint not spill and slosh out of the air brush?
Gravity
Great build! I want to buy these wheels but I can't find them anywhere? Do you know where I can purchase these?
powerstructured based on the bag, try scaleproduction.de
Maybe a link in the description to them since he said he would link the parts and tools, but I didn’t check.
Good luck!
eXite Video Magazine I looked in the link and they weren’t in there.

Any chance you know when the website will be up running? I need these wheels!
What website?
These wheels are from scaleproduction. And no longer in production sadly.
I guess I’m a little late lol would you happen to know of any other place to find similar wheels?
@@shannonchampagne9585 affraid not. Sorry
Great video man! Love watching your work.
What glue do you use to not leave the white resedue?
BSI Super Gold +
whats the stand call thats holding the model
Tamiya spray stand
Amazing pick up truck
Thank you for this video!!! This truck is nice nice nice!!!!!!
Another terrific build. I wonder why people buy panel line wash's when you can make your own for pennies on the dollar., of almost any color.
What do you do with the models when you have finished them?
Awesome. Loved this build it’s a cool and nice kit
One day like around xmas time would you set up a car lot or room showing all of ur builds, that u still got n ur possession?, that would b cool for everyone to enjoy, thanks dude u are one of the best, but there are other builders I watch also...rew
Tremendous talent... great build
Why did you use marker on the body? I noticed it was gone later on.. Did you sand it?
He did
hi when im using clear coat do i need to use thinner ??
That depends on the clearcoat you use and if it is thin enough or not
@@TheScalemodelingChannel thanks
So Clean... Timeless.! Well Done..!!
klebt ihr die räder einfach fest? колёса склеиваете что-ли?
sorry what?
Nice build! That was an enjoyment to watch!
You definitely have mad skills! Beautiful work! I've never seen someone foil the windows like you do. Doesn't that waste a lot of material? Thanks!
Great job !
Where can I find the wheels and tires ?
They are out of production sadly
@@TheScalemodelingChannel can you recommend sone wheels and tires for same build f100 foose
did you wash the panel lines?
Hi Tom.
I've just watched this build again after telling a guy on Twitter about it. I still absolutely love this, it's still my favourite of all your builds.
One question, which might seem strange. When you spray, especially the clear, how much do you open the airbrush? All the way, half way or what?! I'd really like to know.
Thanks.
That depends on how much i need to apply ;) so that can range from half way to all the way.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel You're a funny man Tom!! Well yeah I guess that makes sense!!
Masterful job... top shelf level modler
What was the total cost...to build that..Paints, glues, coats, etc..and the model kit, itself?...
Looks fantastic as always Tom. I might have panted the running boards gun metal as well to tie in with the bumpers, just my opinion.
What do you keep your psi on when you paint the car?
Check the description
Where do u buy all your wheels and tires from?
Where did you get the wood for the bed
Look for places that do wood boat models. You'll find they'll sell scale model planks like those you can cut to size and even steam curves into to get around bends.

Hey can you do a 1969 Chevy impala
beautiful !
Love the video. Would like some voice over. Many of us may not know exactly what you are doing or tools used. Thanks.
Check out the multi part series ;)
Just got this model today
I got into your site... Do you sell material for delivery in Italy? Thanks!!!
Yes
Awesome work :)
