The flamethrower has always been a fun weapon ad this buff REALLY improves things. The only problem that still persists of course is the tendency to light yourself on fire if your not careful. I wish there was an armor that lowered tendency to catch fire or something similar, that would make this build truly amazing.

we melt everything.. chargers die in 2-3 seconds at most now it was very strong before the buffs (imo it was the strongest weapon in the game for bugs) seems like they buffed it as nobody was really using it now it is pretty much broken OP... total flamethrower win

I'm not gonna lie, despite me being very happy at the buff, cuz I LOVE the flamethrower, I somewhat feel like this might not be intended, I understand that there's the whole Chargers having a chance of their legs be completely vulnerable to any damage and all that, which have really elevated a lot of weapons...but it was always very inconsistent, and most of the times, the front legs are rarely the ones vulnerable. Either the flame particles COMPLETELY bypass the armor on the legs of Chargers, or you just get VERY lucky with vulnerability xD. Well tbf, you only showed a couple of footages, but from the games I've played, it's pretty consistent to kill the Chargers by spraying at their front legs, it's almost a bit too good to be true. Might have to play more though, did like 2 games.
Fire desperately needs to be able to slow enemies down, makes no sense for them to keep pushing while they are cooking On hd2 the napalm strike was a wall of fire which enemies couldn't cross without dying. Ok hd2 the napalm works but enemies can come out of it like its nothing
yes, shield backpack blocks getting on fire completely jetpack helps you stay far away from trouble both are pretty good also seems like jetpack is buffed, it used to not go anywhere this high i think
I thought it took about a full canister of constant flame to burn the charger, but it looks like burning their leg specifically will kill them in about 2-3 seconds. Is it bugged?
honestly who knows, game is known to have quite a few bugs it kills them consistently like this and from what i know the bug doesn't occur always, so I think it is intended and not bugged
good video! beats chargers very well but i don't agree its more fun than other weapons. It's slow, your movement is slow, and the visuals and sounds are so light compared to what they could do. So many cool explosions and bombs in this game and yet we get this weak little fire spitter. I want to see this thing throwing big powerful streams of fire. Instead it's like walking around slowly with a hand held leaf blower. IRL flame throwers can reach 50-100 meters, why can't this one do anything close to that?

Maybe even armor that reduces the amount of damage you take from DOT affects like fire, gas, etc.
Then wear the shield. It stops the fire from getting to you.

Definitely wasn’t the best at clearing bugs, grenade launcher could clear packs, close holes, and snipe mushrooms while being much more agile.

Are you shooting the chargers at specific spots? I need to spend at least 6-7 seconds of continuous flame to kill them
Aim at their legs. Make sure to focus on a specific leg since each leg has its own separate health pool
Same leg so you kill it, leg dies= charger dies
What stratagems do you bring for Titans btw?
just 500KG, in general the best are 500KG, laser orbital and orbital railcannon
