This time we'll learn HOW TO SAY BECAUSE
(THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN から vs ので
    + ですから vs からです)
    &
    HOW TO SAY WHY
(THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN どうして vs なんで vs なぜ).
It is a long video but I've talked about lots of things textbooks wouldn't mention + stuff that even advanced learners make mistakes with so it's worth watching it :)
Especially because if you use "ですから / ますから" instead of "ので",
"からです" instead of "ですから", it could be RUDE in some situations.
It gets harder near the end so if you find the beginning too easy, just skip to around 40:00 .

Quint Yes probably, plus, I don't know I just happen to be easier to remember for me than なんで or どうして 😅 Gotta get rid of this bad habit !

I do recommend you to watch it all the way through but if you want to skip some of it,
    here's the time stamp:
どうして vs なんで vs なぜ (How to say "WHY") - 0:21
から (How to say "BECAUSE" informally) - 8:19
    だから (so / that's why) - 12:32
です / ます から vs ので ("BECAUSE" formally) - 25:31
Can you put "BECAUSE (から)" sentence afterwards? - 38:50
からです vs ですから (teaching / telling facts) - 40:10
    からです (DUH) - 47:39

I tried to learn japanese in several attempts in the past 5 years. Every time I failed because I didn't know how to approach the language and didn't have an organized plan . Many books are too advanced though they presented as beginners. Many UA-cam channels focus too much on vocabulary or grammar without giving the other. But, you, you're amazing.
I can't thank you enough for finally opening that door for me.
without you I would give up two months ago for good.

It helps to remember that な and だ are actually different manifestations of the same idea, and that い adjectives are actually a kind of pseudo-verb on their own, which is why they get conjugated like verbs.Keeping that in mind helps a lot with alleviating confusion about how な works.

And anime taught me that は can be used when asking for someone's name.

At the moment I am learning Japanese at a language school in Tokyo, but since the teachers only speak in Japanese it is sometimes hard to understand the little details when it comes to differences between words that actually express the same, but have a different feeling to it. Therefore thank you a lot for your explanations!! ♥ You also help us a lot to know how to speak informal and with friends, since in books mostly the polite speech is taught. THANKS :)

Thank you so much, Misa Sensei. :) What I particularly love about your way of teaching is that you don´t just stick to です・ます but also introduce casual forms. Usually beginners are merely confronted with polite speech - which I don´t consider to be useful in the long run.
By the way... I think those "なの "endings sound so very cute ....

in my head i never realized that kara(from) and kara(because) were two different use cases at all because I would always interperet it as, in this example, I'm hungry from going to the gym; since from can also function as a substitute for because in english. but subconciously, I still get the correct meaning of a sentence containing kara regardless if it is acting as from or because.

This was a long, difficult and beautiful lesson and it is getting easier for me and best of all I am reading the Kanji. Thanks Sensei.

For people who speak English or Chinese, I found one way to help me remember the correct order, i.e. reason before the result. You simply think of からorので as “ therefore /所以”. So, “アニメが大好きだから、日本語を勉強してる” is “I love anime therefore I study Japanese.”/“我非常喜歡動漫,所以我學習日語。”
