In this video I'm going to teach you how to say "I have to", "I gotta", "I need to", "I should", "I should have", "I shouldn't have (I wish I hadn't)" and more... xD
The differences between なければいけない (nakereba ikenai) / なければいけません (nakereba ikemasen). VS. なければならない (nakereba naranai) / なければなりません (nakereba narimasen)
The differences between なきゃ (nakya) vs ないと (naito) vs なくちゃ (nakucha)...
Need...
必要 (hitsuyou)? 要る (iru)?
する必要がある? (suru hitsuyou ga aru)?
I had a similar lesson already, but I wanted to explain all the differences better and teach you more grammar points related to this なきゃ/なければ. I think more advanced students can learn new things from this video!
I'm not a great singer so I'm sorry in advance!

Misa-san, オヌリファンズを作ってください。たくさんお金を払うよ。
I was just hearing about all the different ways to say You must not or have to and I was about to give up. I'll try this video out!
Did you know blacks made an AI overlay to make all photos/videos (like your videos on Facebook & UA-cam) look and sound like you're being raped by black people?
They literally steal your face and repurposed your videos to make you a rape victim in their AI generated hate rape porn...
I have proof in video of them making it look like there's a black man in your videos and your performing graphic acts... :(
I'm just trying to inform the creators their kids content is being used to create rape content for blacks.
I even got shot an hour after they threatened to kill me by name through one of the UA-cam videos I was watching before making the girl look like she was crying and getting raped by black people.
I've been in the hospital for 7 months and have permanent disability and a bullet in my chest.
This whole video is you graphically sucking black dick and talking dirty about black dicks. Your hair turns into detailed black dicks. Also your black clothes. You even cry and gag etc.
Thank you for these videos. They are by far the best instructional videos on learning Japanese. I am planning on going to Japan next year and I would love to have you make a video on weather news terminology. What do you think?
Your the best Japanese teacher ever❤
I put her among the best.

I was actually thinking about how I wanted to understand how to say "need to" or should today. Thanks for gracing us with another well explained and thoughtful lesson as always!
Thanks for saving my Sunday night 🎉
this lesson was definitely what i needed, thank you so much misa-sensei 😭😭😭 Also I love Bump of Chicken, I was so happy to see that you gave the example from that song :)
I mean bump of chicken is the best
"And now, I know... almost there" got me 😂🤣
Your videos are so useful. You don't imagine how much you are helping all of us. You are the best ❤
You really give us a break down of some of everyday grammar of Japanese. Thank you!
14:57 I recently went through something similar. 😅 I was supposed to be resting, but this constant feeling of "I'm not doing enough! I need to do more!" was causing me to become anxious. But sometimes it's good to just be still and take in the moment as it comes.
このレッソンもめっちゃ素晴らしかったです!ミサ先生、ありがとうございます!
wow Misa, I didn't expect you sing so beautifully :)
It's so relaxing listening to you, Misa. It pushes me through hard parts of Japanese ^_^

"pobody's nerfect" 😄😄 The only other place I've found that was in a Garfield cartoon. Another nice video.Thanks.
Really appreciate 😊 the use of different colours for the vocabulary in text. Really helpful in understanding some knew vocabulary words and there place in the Japanese sentence structure.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much! Always loved your lessons due to a lot of examples and pretty proper explanation. I was learning these "have to" and other forms recently and that lesson helped me to compile all that variety of forms in my mind. And to be honest I haven't watched a lot of recent videos but this examples from songs and anime, I don't remember you doing that in past. They are very very helpful and make it feel that I am learning useful japanese that I will encounter and use in the future, so please keep to add them in the future videos. また本当にありがとうって言いたい、全て授業くれたから心から大きくありがとうございますミサ先生!
the most useful japanese teaching course in UA-cam, thanks a lot.
Thanks for teaching ❤
Thank you for this lesson, amazing sensei😊
this is so helpful, thanks so much!! I really like that you are referring to music with it, too, since putting this vocabulary into use right away makes it easier and quicker to learn

Dear ミサさん 先生 ほんとにありがとうごサイマス🥳💕😁your classes are so fun, so good quality, i like how you put a different color to explain what is what and also 歌う好き甘い声😍💐
Love you Misa-sensei, thank you
Thanks misa_sensei ❤❤
This is one area in the Japanese language where I need loads of help. So, thank you very much for the great explanation 🙇♀️❣️
Great lesson and very nice singing voice.
I wish I could explain my English students who complain about Modals and 3rd Conditional how easy they've actually got it... lol! Thanks dear Misa, as always.
Thank you Miss sensei 💜
Thank you
In case anyone was bothered by trying to understand the literal translation to parse the sentence:
think of なきゃ・なければ as literally meaning "unless X" or "as long as X"
using one of Misa's example sentences,
合わなければ良かったです
more literally means "unless I met you, good." So literally anything would be good as long as we don't meet. If that "unless" condition is met, and we end up meeting, then it is no longer a good thing.
I had trouble trying to parse the sentences until I thought of it like this, so I hope if anyone else has trouble, they can try thinking of it as "unless X happens, Y."
And the reason I mention it is because the only reason ~なきゃ・~なければ・~ないと means "have to" is because what comes after it is *implied*. It's implied that it will be followed with something like いけません, but depending on what follows those pieces, the meaning of "have to" can be completely negated...
Which is why "-tara" would not fit in this example.
先生のこと最初から好きだ。
ありがとうございます!
One of the best Japanese teachers. Always uploading good educational content.
Thanks!
Beautiful Misa!
Suddenly literally holding tears back after the song`s lines and Eren`s words. Also there`s another conditional phrase living free in my head. 雨の様なエメラルド 砂漠に降れば. Conditionals in Japanese are so emotional, lol
先生の手振りが好きです。
ミサ先生の新しい映画を見ると、幸せになる。😊
I'm still at the start of this video, but it already helped me make this new sentence:
みんなはこのビデオを見なきゃ。
Thank you Misa-Sensei!!!! I was just looking for this... The first (and only time) I went to Japan I was talking to a nice lady at the airplane and was unsure if nakereba narimasen was right...
thanks !
ありがとうございます
I am currently living and working in Tokyo and your videos are quite helpful to learn some phrases as I dont speak japanese yet. ( I am studying by myself)
I love your videos! Your lessons deserve a better microphone
おはようございます先生😊

I have start learning nihon go 2 weeks ago, and your videos are a great help 👍
If the teacher is so sympatic and beautiful like you, the learning is much more easier 😉 And you are a great teacher.
Great video. Thanks! 🤗✨🌈
I definitely needed this video! I remember when I first learned なければなりません, I thought the teacher was joking.
I remember in first year Japanese, I somehow mixed up "ikemasen" and "narimasen" in an exam. I'm thankful the professor was so patient in explaining the difference to me. @w@; Thanks for your wonderful videos, these are great for keeping Japanese refreshed in my mind.
That's a very minor mistake for a first-year student. You must be doing quite well in your studies.
@@allendracabal0819 I am. I tutor japanese on the side, been studying it for almost 10 years now. It's good to keep skills sharp with informational videos like the ones Misa makes.
今夜までにミサ先生のビデオを見終えねばならぬ😅
I like you when you change your voice CRAZY🙂
みさ先生、日本語を教えてくれてありがとうございます。
12:16 Those who ARE wondering, "iwanai" (not say) is the normal negative form, it's continuation/sentence linking form (-te) is "iwanakute" (not saying), "-nai" is an i-adjective, which provisional form is -nakereba (from whence the contraction -nakya comes from). Pretty much all i-adjectives follow this pattern (ii/yoi - good, would be yokereba - if it were good).
tldr; the "ke" comes from i-adjective conjugations.
Merci Misa.
