What I like about Vito is that he does all of this with minimal tools. Can't admire him enough. I own a w-140 I wish you would do more about w140 but Respects from Southern Illinois. Vito If you are around here you can stay with me
I had stalled my old Mercedes by the road side. A mechanic came over to change both pumps in the saddle fuel tank. The old rubber seal on the right side crumbled and rubber debris dropped into the fuel tank. He picks up as much as possible with fingers. But there are remaining small pieces of the crumbled seal. Should I worry about this remaining debris in the fuel tank? Thanks.
@@VITOSGARAGE the rubber gasket/seal around the top casing of fuel pump assembly. It's for saddle fuel tank of W211 year 2006. It had become very brittle. When pulling up the old fuel pump casing the old rubber seal crumbles and drop into the fuel tank. 🙁The new seal which comes with the new pump is green in colour.
Awwwww how sad. My videos are mostly for entertainment and knowledge purposes only. These cars are old school where you can literally figure everything out by looking at the tank and seeing what needs to be removed etc. if you have questions send a message on Instagram (vitosgarageyoutube)
How did you take out the tank? Im doing this as we speak I got everything connected. Pulling to driver side up and out, no luck currently @@VITOSGARAGE

I'd love to but this video is from a few months ago
99% showing you washing the tank. Basically zero for tank removal and installation 🙄
