Great 👍 WestJet on starting to using Boeing 787 Dreamliner just like Air Canada, already uses Beoing 787-8 and 787-9. I flown on Hainan Airlines between Calgary and Beijing China 2017 on a 787 Dreamliner and it was comfortable plane ✈️ to be on for trip to China 🇨🇳.
I flew on a 787 from Honolulu to Tokyo in 2017. That was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had in a commercial jet. Very roomy and comfortable.
I was the BUSINESS CLASS and I LOVED IT!!!

I remember flying on this plane a few years back I loved it, it was amazing so big and such a smooth ride flying in this new plane.

SUPER excited about this! We are busy immigrating to Canada, and we purchased our first ticket with Westjet to get us from Toronto to Calgary. We are hoping to find a good flight with Westjet from London to Toronto too! Awesome work and super excited about the direct flight from Calgary... 👏🏻

Great choice of aircraft. I'll be checking for connections at Calgary from the US southwest. Air Canada had some of the best fares to Europe with a connection in Toronto. If I recall it was a Jazz CRJ from Phoenix to Toronto, as well as a United 737-800 landing in Toronto yet offering great fares onto Paris or London on the same Air Canada flight. I hope WestJet will test the same market

Took 18 people from IAH to Winnipeg and back a couple of months ago and I was very impressed with your airline. We were on older 737 and it was nice compared to SWA.

I was disappointed when my direct flight from Saskatoon to Toronto was changed to go to Calgary. However, flying back to Toronto on this new Dreamliner was well worth it!! Such a smooth experience!

Meals will be included on all 787 flights across the Atlantic, regardless of cabin flown. Each seat will also have a blanket and pillow. @@andreamendes8145
When I toured the Boeing factory the first Dreamliner wasn’t even off the production line yet. They were literally still putting the plane together when I was there!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! I know Southwest is looking to fly over to Great Britain with their new MAX’s, I know they keep themselves on the 737, but would love to see them get 5-10 787-8’s to scurry over the pond, but it would mess with their business model, but I think it would be worth it for them.

He forgot to add in, that they start Domestic flights between Toronto and Calgary using WestJet 787 sometime in mid February 2019, before Calgary to Europe flights in Summer 2019.

Everyone’s complaining the economy seats look uncomfortable, but in my opinion they seem very nice
Is not the seats, it's the 3-3-3 configuration. They are too narrow in all 787s with that configuration. The 787 was first designed for 2-4-2.
I now want to fly through Calgary whenever I go to Europe now

ONT is a small airport where nobody would fly too... I think LAX is a good airport to fly to. Besides, who would fly on a huge plane like this to a tiny city in California ? It would be useless.

I flew the dreamliner jfk to amsterdam 30th Dec 2019. Delta Economy. I'm a bit of a plane geek so it was of course, awesome. Might seem like a stupid question but I am genuinely interested to hope that they survived covid? Does Anyone know?

So basically just refinished versions of the seats that Delta is using on the A350, and then the old D1 seats up front?
Will any of them fly to Hawaii?
And its always nice, as you walk through to economy, to get the chance to go by the business and premium seats first, just to rub it in...!
On narrow body aircraft that's the case, but on wide body aircraft like the 787 Dreamliner, the entry door is part way down the side of the aircraft, so anyone flying in the Economy cabin would turn right and walk directly into that cabin, while guests sitting in Premium or Business would turn left to get to their seats.
