Many many years ago I had a few One-Letter Legacy (hereafter 1LL) decks that a friend of mine and I had come up with, based on the same premise: any card except for the five typical basics had to start with the same letter. I think the best 1LL deck I had come up with was Seismic Swans, which also ran Serum Powder to help with getting the cards you needed early. And I think my friend's best deck was Elf-drazi, ramping into Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Also I was hoping there's be a second game with different decks (as sometimes happens when the games are a bit shorter) but I guess that's a bit much to ask for when it comes to a theme like this!
Yeah, the whole trolling bit kinda took away from the entire video, it wasn't a fun bit and it lasted basically the entire match after the first few turns. Since it was ignored in the game we as the audience have to appreciate it all the more.
I think Crim's troll would be ok if all card were sea related. Like every creature is a sea monsters and each instant and sorceries had fish or boat or the like in it's art. Here he's double tapping into C card and sea card, it's too cheaty !
Watch every video you guys put out, and normally I find Crim to be fun and funny. I will say though that this time it actually annoyed me that he cheated.
Thumbs down for Crim, stick with the rules you agreed to
turned off the moment Crim broke the single one rule in that game... dissapointing
Man, no one's allowed to have fun anymore
I usually feel this way a lot, and I’m seeing more comments than usual agreeing. Maybe they’ll care if there’s enough responses?
It annoys me more that what Crim did wasn't even funny. He had to pick the letter C to set up his own joke, an extra step which makes it feel forced. Maybe if he was told he had to use C cards and he pretended for the audience that he thought they meant "Sea" cards but no, he just added a bunch of good sea creatures and Whelming Wave. It ruined the game because the letter restriction does a lot to curb the power and consistency of everyone's deck but he had a looser restriction which muddies what was and wasn't a deserved outcome. His illegal LOTR card was responsible for tapping Progenitus which took Phil out of the game way before he actually lost and just having illegal cards forced the strategically incorrect play but morally correct play from Seth of wasting removal on Crim instead of using it on Richard who was ahead at the time. Just an all around mess. Phil would likely have won that game if Crim followed the rules. I would be salty if I lost from a winning position because someone else was being try hard.
@@ilyafoskin I hope he keeps doing it So i can read these kinda of comments lmao
@@ilyafoskinyeah like Richard was playing Luxurious locomotive, a mediocre OTJ filler card and crim played nadir kraken? Like what lmao. It would have been one thing if it was “seahunter” with no merfolk to search, I’d have been totally fine with that.
I love crim, I’m sure he’ll correct for the next theme week
Would a game where everyone plays with Vorthos, Steward of Myth as their commander, but built around different characters be fun?
This game is another reason why I would never allow a player like Crim within my playgroup.

I'll join the C-horus here and c-hime in that Crim's non-adherence to the theme really sucks. I almost wish he was booted from the game. Halfway through the video and I don't think I'll finish it. Do better, man.
I also won't be finishing. There just isn't a point
I just stopped it right after he started acting up. it warped the whole game and made it no longer fun or interesting
Crim is so kind, pulling all of the Comment sections hate by violating the theme so noone gives Seth shit for his Mic quality.
I usually can appreciate Crim, but it's really not cool to just break the theme and make your own rules when everyone else followed them.
Mana rocks mixed in the the lands is just painful.... lol
OK, crim's joke is funny the first time... but then it gets old very fast
Off the plank with ye, Crimothy!
Come on crim what the hell! If you troll by using silver boarder or another language I wouldn’t mind but basically ignoring the restriction makes it much less enjoyable to watch
Crim is the kind of guy to go to a Silver Border theme game where he's sharpied a silver border around a Jeweled Lotus
Instead of being a cool deckbuilding restriction game, it was a game where 1 player was just being annoying the whole time.
Guess I'll just start filtering Crim episodes out when checking what to watch. It's really turned into the "funny stipulation guy". Idk, if yall think that's fun enough to keep doing, have at it, I guess.
Yeah had it just been one or maybe two "sea" creatures it would have been funny, but it went way to far.
Richard noooo could have gone with ethics before greed!! It was right there!
love this weeks theme.
My only question, is something up with Seth's mic? It sounds different.
Crim doing his best Tomer impression this week by not actually sticking to the theme of his deck
Instant like purely for Phil putting in the work with his alliteration intro.
Don't worry Phil
I saw that d joke
I was so impressed by Crim playing an adventure the also starts with C with Can't Wake Up. Then he just threw all the rules out the window and didn't even care.
And then he plays a creature that is literally named as coming from a LAKE. He can't even follow his own bad interpretation of a very simple rule.
I've never thumbs downed a Clash video before. Phil, Richard, Seth, if I could thumbs up your retaliation while still sending a clear message to Crim, I would.
