I think that’s a solid line. I really WANT it to take a 49 to medal but I think that requires too many people to have a perfect or near perfect race at the same time.
It’s gonna be close as hell but I think Caeleb Dressel and Josh Liendo are the most likely going sub 50… I think the top 3 will include Dressel, Liendo, and Ponti. We really can’t say until Dressel swims at trials to see but I think with that back half speed he’s been working on he could go sub 50 at trials or Paris idk though
My guess is: sub 50.1 for podium in Paris

@@TheSwimScribe sub 50 for podium would be absolutely insane
Dressel went 49 in 2020...Plus the event is stacked...
@@frankthedukes1564 Dressel is not in his best shape and Milak is probably not in his best shape either
@@plundergebaeckMilak is in Worse shape if he hasn’t gone to that many practices
Caeleb just went 50.1, Paris is going to be crazy 💀
I think its going to take a WR to win and a sub 50 to podium, 100 fly might be the most tight event this year
No way it will take a WR. I'm a Dressel believer and I think he will 49.7 to win. Simply nobody can touch that.
49.45 is so insanely fast.

Here's my top 5 100 fly perdiction for Paris, 5: Kristof Milak 50.45 4: Mathew Temple:50.09 3: Noe Ponti: 49.92 2: Caeleb dressel: 49.89 1. Maxine Grousset: 49.78
Kristof Milak Split: 23.69, 26.76: Mathew temple split: 23.54, 26.55 Noe Ponti: 23.70, 26.22 Caeleb Dressel: 23.77, 26.12 Maxine Grouseet: 23.04, 26.74
Bro's even providing splits. Dressel won't be out that slow when tapered. So you're expecting Liendo to be much slower than trials?
@@XDF745 Forgot liendo lol
@Godzilla_Earth-dz1mi The video is about Liendo 😂
honestly I see liendo going 49.8 low at slowest and could probably go 49.6 at best
50 Free, Cam McEvoy, Australia, 100 Free Kyle Chalmers Australia, did a 47.45 at trials June '24.
100 free will be a showdown. It's a matter of who will have the perfect race.
Maybe a bronze medal.
dressel wr at trails
Impossible he's struggling
@@Rhea123yes, not a wr but maybe just MAYBE sub 50 or very close to it
@@Emry65He just went a 50.19
He failed miserably
