Will Daiya Seto EXTEND This Winning Streak?
Переглядів 2 тис.Місяць тому
Winning streaks are a big part of pretty much EVERY sport and swimming is CERTAINLY no exception, we’ve had some pretty iconic ones through the years, Ledecky’s four-peat in the 800 free at the Olympics or the American Men’s 400 medley relay win streak that was only just broken in Paris. Another insane win streak that’s STILL active today is Japanese superstar Daiya Seto in the 400 IM at short ...

The 2024 Paris Olympics had a TON of crazy storylines, performances, and downright fast swimming take place. Among ALL of that it's easy for some swims to get lost in the crowd, but there is ONE swim that I’m sure NO ONE will forget anytime soon. Pan Zhanle’s 100 freestyle world record. This was one of, if not THE, best swims of the meet. Despite Pan entering these Games as the reigning world r...

My favorite event in SCM. Amazing day for the 100 IM lovers

I’m not sure how college swimming draws more fans but I do know that NCAA dual meet scoring is the excitement killer for the sport. There is never an upset by a team that may have a deep roster because the winner of each event gets as many points as a team that finishes 2nd 3rd and 4th. That doesn’t make sense to me. Winners should get rewarded but not to that extent. Teams should be excited for their dual meets not just working on getting to conference championships.
hahahaha love it, keep it up!
Merchand only OG while zanle WR
I feel like we’re seeing more and more programs get better at swimming fast year round which makes in season swims way more exciting. ASU also proved that it’s possible to have in season swims at a high caliber and still have post season success last year.
Is Ilya Kharun a sophomore, junior, or senior at next NCAA's? Because he's going to be a tank in the 200 -100 fly maybe NCAA rec????
He’s a sophomore
I think he's more of a threat in the 2, I see liendo breaking the 100 record
@@Alex-yd1dualthough him going 19.94 in the individual 50 fly is something to note there.
If Marchand is tapered and ready like he usually is for NCAA’s i think any world record in event he swims might be under threat. Just His 400im of 3:28 converts to around 3:50/3:51 in scm😭
Not sure if he’s even been back training with Bowman since the Olympics. With the amount of media he’s been doing I find it hard to believe he’ll be in that kind of shape in world cups
what an amazing world record👏👏congratulations to PAN ZHANLE
Pan said his next goal is the short course 100m free WR
Challenging Kyle's record eh?
Pan has the speed to beat it easily
its going to be hard to beat without a super suite
One more thing, dude claimed 400m free silver in AG2022
I hope you look at the Gamecock invite, USC and UNC will have their mid season meet there along with Tampa and a couple other schools along with an NAIA school
I may or may not just be saying this because I’ll be there swimming
I don’t live close to many schools to go to meets easily. The closest school I live to is Notre Dame😆 but I’m going to a meet with Michigan, Purdue, and a couple D3 schools today! I’m really excited. I haven’t been to a meet in over ten years. But since I got back into swimming myself this year I’m excited to follow college swimming this year. I’ve been enjoying your channel a lot, and fun discussion on swimswam the other day!
Oh nice👍👌
They doin him dirty with those grainy headshots 🤣
Before 2023 world championship 400 medley relay Pan used 50-slow-50-fast strategy like other 100m sprinters. But in that 400 medley relay, he used 50-fast-50-keep-fast-as-possible-as-you-can strategy and went 46.62 split, which got attention by the coach team. After that, since 2023 Asian Games, Pan started to use the 50-fast-50-fast and trained around that strategy.
Very good video👍Very detailed, his growth and progress have always been traceable
I imagine that in four years the Americans will make sure that it won't be possible to swim 200m breaststroke and 200m butterfly on the same day... They'll do everything they can to thwart Léon Marchand...
This is an achievement on the same level as Usain Bolt's 9.58, but the Western-controlled media has shrugged it off as a minor occurrence
I hate him
I really don’t think his recent underperformance is a function of the shorter distance practices per se. Always amazes me how many swimming sprinters still train heavy distance
I think that the two most impactful changes for him will be adding some strength training and being a part of a larger training group, both of which seem to be included with this move.
Huge talent, poor coaching, hope it's not too late for him to turn it around. Potential 200IM world record holder.
i also wish he trained with a top d1 college team like asu cal or stanford
It’s about time. Has way too much talent to not make the Olympics
He’s so himmy
With purple pee
one stroke, thats never the best swim. no skill, no strategy. no stamina. never the best swim.
the doping test (7 Times per day) distrupred chinese swimmer
BEST SWIM of all-time!
46.4 is just mind boggling
and great breakdown...feels like he came out of nowhere...its because he improved like every meet...so rare
dude is a BEAST!!!!
YES It was the BEST SWIM (male or female) of the Paris Olympics.
Amazing vid… thank you 🔥
Marchand goes <3:50 at SC worlds, you read it here first
That is actually wild to say, maybe he will go a 3:52/53, but break the 3:50 barrier...I doubt it, but we will see...
From the flying Pan into the fiery accuses.
I’ve got concerns over the future of the world short course champs. Continues to lose its lustre with every passing edition. A total revamp to include a much expanded World Cup (diamond league type) competition from September - November as a qualify series for a big money super final in December every year.
Dudes, dismiss the troll @trn8061 whose mindset is entrenched with hate to Chinese. He's not that "humanly impossible" clown but a sore goober from an east european communist country.
Emperor Pan is reigning the freestyle arena over a decade. He’ll be defending his title in OG 2028 & 2032. Mark it down 18/09/2024.
My prediction: Michael Andrew pulls off an insane negatively split 400 IM for bronze, Alain Bernard comes out of retirement and touches second (tho tightening up), and the veteran Jason Lezak chases him down and pulls off a shocker for Gold and teaches the Aussies to use a word other than “smash”
I think we’re under looking the fact that Bernard IS 6 foot 5 and can absolutely fly

PAN IS THE MAN, THAT IS WHY HE GOT THE AEROBIC FOUNDATION FOR THE LAST 50.
The man who pees purple. State doping.
This PAN is on FIRE!!!!!!+
Can't wait to see Pan vs Popovici in the coming 2 Olympics/WC and other coming up new rising stars!
Zhang Zhanshuo UPCOMING beast in 800m freestyle and 400m individual medley
The United States and the Australian Asthma Purple Face Team took stimulants, but still lost to the Chinese. No wonder the American media broke down.
Yeah what a disgrace. 60% of the TUE's went to only 3 countries, two of which were Australia and USA.
@@dudemanismadcool The US men's team only won one individual championship in the 1500 meters, and taking performance enhancing drugs did not work.
