    I have 3 Merlin stoves, I burnt stove ovals and other smokeless coal, in the slimline, it was fantastic at it.... It would run 24-7 on a bucket of coal if it was not that windy outside.... I live right on the sea's edge and it can really blow!!! They are also excellent at wood burning..... Keep up the good work,👍

      Merlin are good stoves,older models the log guard was a bit thin

      I have seen the Merlin stoves and they did look a very solid thing. Glad to hear they’re also very effective!

    I have a hetta 45 multi fuel stove can I burn coal on it and how do I do this

      Clean your stove out, open the grate, light your fire as normal and then start placing coal in the middle above the grate.
      Should all be nice and simple.
