The world is a disturbing place. War, poverty, hate-filled doctrines and the abuse of vulnerable people and children dominate the news cycles that broadcast thousands of times daily around the world. There is a widespread sense of despair and helplessness, both in the media, and expressed in the lives of ordinary people. How can we change the apparently unstoppable impetus toward the destruction of our species and the ecosystem? In this short, but powerful film, Dr. Jewels Maloney invites us to recognise the true strength that each of us possesses to both create and uncreate.
Much recent thinking in the fields of psychology and neuroscience and sociology has focussed on the enormous power of shared ideas to shape our reality. Even the international banking system relies fundamentally on a collective decision to believe in the reality of money, whether or not particular currencies are backed by bullion. A shared set of beliefs allows markets, governments, states, social orders, to exist and function.
So what would happen if we each recognised the power of our beliefs in the creation - and uncreation - of what is? Dr. Jewels reminds us we can choose to manifest with the intention of serving the highest universal good of all beings. But alongside that, we can claim and command the uncreation of all that is so dysfunction in our world. There is a direct, if complex, inter-relationship between our individual and collective consciousness.
We can uncreate war. We can claim and command we are creating peace. Alongside our efforts in the manifest world, in terms of collective action, we can also bring the power of our energy and spiritual abilities to uncreate the horrors of war, of the abuse of children, of the expanding industry of human slavery.
Now is the time to say ‘no more’. We can have a better world. And that change begins with us.
