    I'm in my 3rd month now but this gives me some hope for the future of my store. I made $22 my first month and $66 last month. I want to double my earnings each month, which I know can't last for long, but for now that's the plan. Thanks for your videos! You've really helped get me on the right track.

    Loved your thorough video and tips of how you expanded. I did have a couple of business questions for TpT, did you have to obtain a business license before selling PDFs online and how to you estimate quarterly payments for tax purposes (if you are required to do so). Still trying to wrap my head around the business side of everything. Thanks!

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  4 роки тому +2

      Yes, you need a business license. I believe there is a monetary cut off for how much you can make before it being officially a "business", but if you are trying to earn money, go ahead and get one. That should be through your county or city depending on where you live. I am not currently doing estimated payments. I just save 30% of my income in a savings-- which is a bit more than necessary. Then I pay it all at one time. If you want to do estimated payments, you just figure out how much you need to pay and divide it by four. You can now pay online! I posted a whole video about taxes you can check out!

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  4 роки тому +1

      Dianne Herbst Hi! So I only use pictures I purchase on TpT or other sites when I buy the right to use it. I don’t usually put them up as PowerPoints because people can lift the clip art which violates the terms of use of the clip art. Also, different versions of PowerPoint sometimes format things differently. If you have clip art and want to save something as a PowerPoint, you have to save every slide as pictures and then reupload those into a PowerPoint. Pdf is just so. Much. Easier.

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  5 років тому +1

      You keep your rights! They belong to you. For a basic seller, they keep 45% of your sales, plus 30 cents. So if your product is $3, you will get 1.35. If you upgrade to the premium seller, then you pay 59.99 once a year, and they only take 20% of each sale, plus 15 cent if the order is less than $3. So if your product is $3, you would get $2.40. • @BeccaDavis

      Naomi Ruwaine Gutierrez Parrish Totally depends on what you are making! Most things take a few hours. I tend to work on them on and off so I don’t have exact times. Also, it tends to get faster as you go. I now know what all I put into my song packs, so they are a lot faster. And things that I already have templates for, like flash cards, can sometimes take as little as an hour. But the first product of a type will be time consuming. So it will get better- but it will always be a bit time consuming. If it wasn’t, nobody would buy them. They would just make them themselves.
