I am still learning how to add songs to my Fantom 6. Thanks for adding these different ways to import samples, tones and make backing tracks so we can program set list.
What I don’t think Ed has mentioned so far is that if you have the backing track set to ‘GATE’ you can hold the sample button down while pressing the ‘hold’ button and then let go of both. This way the sample plays to the end of the song and then stops, so you don’t have to worry about it starting again when in ‘LOOP’ mode. I find this a simple and effective way to play tracks

Can you please do a video on how to do the same or similar brass patch on the Fantom? Sorry to post this in the comment here but I could find no other way of asking you Thanks
Ed, thank you for these bits on sampling. I’m a terrible synth player but I make some nice beats so doing this more on the fandom 8 is nice rather than having to solely sample on my mpc. As always thank you for your videos.
When i want to use backing tracks in band i need to different samples the same time, is it possible to start two samples with one pad - and much more importtant: How can io send the pads to an alternative output on the rear panel?

I hate how the samples just stop abruptly when you shut them off. An option for the sample to trail out or fadeout would be a much better option than just a sudden stop. It's awkward and sounds bad. I've yet to be able to find an option for this on my keyboard. Does it exist? It really makes the sampler less useful, especially when you want to end a song with a sample.
