In between the red and blue mine is black instead of white. I think it was because when you deselected green your text changed colors and mine didn't but I am not sure. Still a great tutorial tho! ;)

7:20 my photoshop only has three generic patterns how do i get those ones?
Reset the patterns or load the default ones.

I'm not sure why my mezzotint doesn't work the same as yours at all, but it doesn't skew the lines of the text, it just overlays some static over it
so I've don't this step by step and have finished it looks awesome and I love it but How would I turn this in the a transparent photo to use the glitched writing on a different back ground for UA-cam videos?
Yes, you can. Select the black color by going to "Select>Color Range. Select the black color, invert the selection and then, add a layer mask to hide the black area. Then, export the file in PNG format with transparent background. Or, you can use Blend Mode like "Lighten" or, "Screen" in the video editing app to remove the black area easily.

I can't find the pattern you used towards the end. Was it something you downloaded from a source or my own photoshop just doesn't have it. It still came out great though, but having that pattern would have given the difference.
It came with that version of the Photoshop.

Only thing is, when I edit the text, the 'filter' effects layers don't change. How do I make it so I can edit the text and it apply to all of the effects? If I made them all smart objects before I started, would that work?

You can mask the black area using color range or any other selection method you are comfortable with. Or, you can just make this effect on the text only no background should be used. Or, you can use blend modes to remove the background. I haven’t tried it on any particular background so, can't tell you what is the perfect way for this.
First export the final output as jpeg or png (you can use other format too). Now, open the background image in Photoshop then place this glitch image on top of the background layer and then, set the blend mode to something like lighten or anything you like. It should work.
How do you save the color of the rgb as a preset?????? Need help

Every version of phoshop should have the blending options. So, if your version doesn’t have the blending options then, please update your photoshop to the latest version or try reinstalling it.

It's not necessary to use that. That was just to color grade the components. You can create a new layer and then paint the layer with your desired color, lower the opacity and then, set the blending option to "Color" or something that works for you.

Create a Black line of 1px wide and then, copy the line and paste below the original one and the distance between every line should be 3 px. Cover the entire canvas with the lines just like I did in the video. And, this is how you won't even need to remove the white area (as shown in the video).
Create a new layer and fill that layer with these color values:
R=255
G=248
B=231

Please do everything as I did. Try to rewatch every step carefully and you should be able to do what I did. I didn't skip any step so, you surely should be able to produce similar results.

It's called "Horizontal line 1" Reset your pattern to default or load all of the available patterns in Photoshop. You should be able to find the one I used or, you can just create the lines by using the line tool.

Your version of photoshop may not have that pattern. You can continue without that pattern I guess.

Might not be as same as the thumbnail. In the tutorial I tried to give an idea of how to create the effect but, the thumbnail I used, took more time.

That color lookup preset comes with Photoshop by default. If you don't have it then, update your photoshop and you should get the preset after the update.
