I feel like the dogs should be a different color then red... Like you guys explained, the game is good about showing what will break and what won't based on the color. Weird that the dog isn't solid white or even dark gray or something.
Okay, so. You can actually defeat the dog. It just takes a bit of skill. But you can beat it, and when you do, you can upgrade your power. All the cores have respective bosses, so killing the dog boss, gets you an upgrade for the Charge core.
I've been playing Mind Control Delete and I have enjoyed it so far. The constant variation and change of pace forces you to actually use the super-slo-mo to stop and think.
Because if they had traditional levels then it wouldn’t fit the lore of the game, also if you want traditional levels you can just play the original super hot.

I guess this is just the game saying: you wanted more? Here. But i do agree, i want both types of gameplay, they are great fun both ways. Maybe a dlc for both?
@@official-sh6nm I think it just comes down to the fact that MCD isn't trying to be anything other than what it is. It's not trying to be what the original SUPERHOT was. I was about to call it SUPERHOT 1, but this isn't really a sequel as much as it is an alternative title. Not quite a spinoff, but it does feel like an "expandalone".

Considering MCD was given away for free to anyone who had the original before it was released I think it's fair to see a large majority of MCD owners will have the first game.

The two hearts at the beginning of these super long runs is basically what's breaking the game for me. I'm forced to constantly take the extra heart cause I'm not great at the game, and then I lose out on all the fun variety the game tried to add. It's a shame, because I love the additional ideas, but oh well.

I’m liking these discussion style videos. You get a nice punchy structure which knocks out the main points in a clear way, whilst playing on the strengths of your journalistic background and comical banter that I feel are some of the channels key strengths.
I think the game in a sense has more strategy than the original, you just have to be creative to find it For example, you complained about shotflow going into walls making it useless, but when I used shotflow I found that that was already a good advantage, since it shows you where the nearest enemy is, so if it hits a wall you can expect an enemy to be lurking behind it, if it goes behind you you know to turn around instead of moving forewards, which are all helpful ways to use it without being too op since most guns make it somewhat hard to get headshots on enemies that arent within 5 ft of you
Hmm I wonder what it'd be like if more shooters used people in dog outfits in lieu of dogs for those who don't like killing animals..... the last of us 2 would get extremely weird that's for sure
It's fair they didn't do it with this one cause it wasn't meant to be this big, but with Superhot it'd be awesome to get better animations,AI and shattering physics one day
I never really looked for puzzles in superhot. I would always play endless mode. It's like playing tetris. Instead of clearing lines you're clearing red guys. It's addictive. Lots of snap decisions build on eachother as you string together these combinations. This sounds like my kind of superhot sequel. I didn't even know this game existed.
They keep calling superhot 1 a puzzle game. Man, they must have played that game way different than i did. The way that bunnyhopping works in that game makes it play much more like a shooter than a puzzle.

Being more of a fan of the endless mode than the training mode *cough* story mode. Always felt the campaign was basically there to teach you how to play Superhot. Endless is where execution becomes important, and the game becomes the most fun. That being said, I still think Superhot VR is the best but I think Mind Control Delete is way more fun than the first game
when i first encountered the white guys with 1 red limb, i thought they're good guys cuz they went to the direction of the enemies, turns out he only wanted a weapon to kill me
I love the immortal guys. I'm not sure if he's finished the game, but at the end it's revealed that these are the embodiments of the core powers, and they have the abilities you have been playing with the whole game. It's really just a great narrative decision that really puts you in the shoes of a helpless red guy
Glad to see someone else is also mildly annoyed about the dog, cause god are they hard to dodge. Also, I feel like the level system is put into place due to this game's design being summed up to "Super hot but MORE." Like superhot? Well here is a considerable amount of super hot stages! They've removed it from the store until launch because they felt it was pointless for players to pay for early access a mere week before the full release. It had been available to download since 2017, and at this point, if you didn't already have it, then it would've basically just been a preorder anyways.
You don't have to kill everyone like you had to in the original game. After you kill a certain number of them it will end and everyone else's heads explode.
