when i first went on this ride, i honestly thought we werent supposed to be in that area with the alams and everythingand i began to freak out but then i realized it was just the ride
The Ride has lap bars, but they go to your chest, NOT THE LAP. During a ride if it has a big drop, I push the lap bar tight and squeeze my behind so I wouldn't feel the G Force.
Yea when I was little I hit my CHIN on that thing and it still hurts and that was... when I was 4 or 5 and now I’m 9 so I don’t like this ride anymore 🦖
I hate drops so much. I could go on any rollercoaster or ride that doesn’t have a drop. I hate the feeling. We were in Florida, and I was watching this on my phone in the hotel. I was terrified because we were going to Universal later that day and my whole family was going on, so I had no choice but to go on with them. The drop was terrible for me, but also kind of fun. It was a little odd that I enjoyed it, but I still wouldn’t go on it again. The next time we’re going to Florida I’ll be 17, so I think I’ll be old enough to wait outside by myself.
I remember going to Islands for a class field trip. While I would love any chance to go on a roller coaster, I hate G-Force and what it feels like. When I went on this ride and realized it was an 85 feet drop, I instantly thought that the G-Force, strong enough or not, would make me pass out. When I was about to reach the drop, turns out I breathed at the wrong time because when that drop started the G-Force did not let me breathe at all. Still fun thought, but I don't know if I would ride that again.
And the thing is, on the way up, it feels like you’re going up for ten minutes AND it’s in the dark, so realistically you have no idea how steep the drop is until you go down. And let me tell you, I was not expecting that. It was fun, but I felt my soul leave my body when I saw the dino, I then momentarily felt myself passing away as we cascaded down. 😭😭😂😂

Everybody over here talking about how universal is their second home and they'd been there like five times. HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO GO!?😂😂
I have a friend who goes a lot and she just gets annual passes, which apparently get cheaper and cheaper and have more benefits the longer you've been getting them for. If you happen to live near the park it would be worthwhile. Actually, I think that even for the first year, an annual pass doesn't cost much more than a single day pass.
Me: What a nice relaxing little ride. Get to see some cute dinosaurs. How nice. Oh.. you go inside.... oh there is red lights... oh. Why do you go up? OH MY GOSH T-REX OH A DROP!? Well then.

I had fun and it was a great experience, but this ride gave me whiplash and I had a terrible neck kink for days which stopped me from riding anything else, but luckily I rode this on our last day at the park.
Totally. I remember the one in Hollywood had a shorter river tour with the dinosaurs. It also didn't have the decorations at 5:05, 5:24, and 5:29, but it did have the falling Land Rover featured in the movie.
Well that is true. The orlando park in general is bigger than the hollywood one. Same for the Disney park in Orlando being bigger than the one in hollywood
I've only been there once as a kid, and I remember VIVIDLY the part with the T-Rex right before the drop and when they were going up into the darkness my heart started beating like crazy because I was having PTSD
Yes, the one in Orlando is actually way better than the one in Hollywood, CALIFORNIA. It has more rides, better animatronic designs, and in every park of the park, you feel like you're in a movie!
The white light at the end is appropriate. I went on this ride alone and was not prepared for that drop! I think I ducked when the raptor came down, haha.
5:20 is about when my parents should have realized they shouldn't have taken me on the ride. Especially since I did NOT do scary things in the dark. I legitimately screamed going down the last drop.
we went two weeks ago and my siblings went under the seat when we saw the t-rex 😂 the staff made the drop lighter because when it was quiet and proceeded to say “isle two do not go under the seat please “ and everyone had a laugh
I remember going on this when I went to Orlando it seems like a nice relaxing ride until you start to go up and then when your done going up it looks like your going to drop but no you drop like a foot and it’s nice and relaxing until you get to the real drop
I’ve only ever heard the beginning voice at Universal Studios Hollywood (well through videos because I was always scared just ACTUALLY go on the ride) so it was weird to hear the voice like this😂
i just got back from universal studios and i almost went on this ride after i asked one of the workers if it was fast or had any drops. he said “no it’s really slow” but after i saw the tiny ass hump at the very beginning i sat out. my dad came off the ride and told me there was a huge drop and that it was good that i sat out haha
First time I went on this ride I was 6 years old. My uncle told me that it really wasn’t the way the ride was supposed to work...as you can imagine, I was completely petrified
This ride looks like a lot of fun! The part that i wouldn't have liked too much would have been the drop at the end, I'm sure you get on heck of a soaking.
it was and the drop wasnt bad if you expected it by bracing yourself, i at the time was starring at and imitating a trex when the drop happened taking me alittle by surprise but i just laughed..
KaramatsuTrash~ I figured that. I ride roller coasters that have bigger drops than that, but the reason why I said that I'd hate the drop is at the end getting soaked. I wouldn't mind being soaked if i was in my bathing suit, but getting soaked while fully clothed is another story for me. I probably would be imitating the T-Rex as well. At the beginning I would have quoted the movie by saying "What's on the other side of this? King Kong!"

I went on this back in 2016 and was such a good ride!! I usually detest rollercoasters and scary rides but this had just the right amount of everything
All I ever wanted so desperately ever since 2013 was to go on this ride so when I finally went in the beginning of march 2017 it was closed...FOR CLEANING!!!...A BUNCH OF JANITORS STOPPED ME FROM RIDING ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS RIDES EVER BUILT!!! When I found at his out I was as frustrated as someone who lost £2k do you know why because that's how much it costs to go to universal Orlando from the uk! But the rest of the park made up for it and spider man was ride I ended up going on the most but I'm still quite disappointing about it every time I hear the theme song it brings back horrible memories
I went on a universal and Disney trip with my dad, we saw this ride and thought it would be fun so we got into the boat(there was no line so we didn’t know what to expect) we were just watching and looking around and then we realized, why is there boat wet? Was not expecting a drop at all but it’s one of our favorite rides now!
Wish they had rides that were scary but without the drops and high speed for ppl like me who can’t do them anymore but still want a thrill..the dark and the sound effects I’m sure added a lot to this ride and that last dinosaur
I remember my sister and I grabbed each other and screamed when we saw the T. rex and in the picture that we have my brother was covering one eye and the other one was huge lol
My mom put her arm around when she realized I was actually scared in the containment area. The picture we got had me screaming in terror while holding my mom for dear life.
When I went on this ride as a child, my dad went on it before me to check to see how it was as mum didn't want us to go on rides with drops that were too steep. He reported back to us that the drop wasn't too bad and trustingly we all went on the ride. Not only was the drop HELLA steep, my dad said "look over there" and then a giant trex jump scared me by yelling in my face. Several minutes later by dad had several traumatised children and a annoyed wife. Watching this video was like PTSD for mw

They should remodel this ride. Make it more realistic. I will say this those. This version is better over the Hollywood one. I like how T-Rex comes out the sec u drop. At the Hollywood one he comes out way too early.
Such a calm, relaxing ride and then...death drop. I'm afraid of coasters but after surviving this I might just try one.

This one looks bigger and less bunched together like the one in hollywood. There is simply a lack of space in hollywood.
it is, honestly
That is because it is on a hill sides that’s why there less space for rides but the Hollywood one is better in my opinion because a car falls
In my opinion I think the Hollywood one is better because I love the studio tour and seeing all the film sets
I've only been there once as a kid, and I remember VIVIDLY the part with the T-Rex right before the drop and when they were going up into the darkness my heart started beating like crazy because I was having PTSD
I love this ride! When I was a kid this and the hulk were my favorite. The new Harry Potter ones are amazing but can’t beat nostalgia
I was scared AF when we started to go up 😂😂😂 have the best memories tho
Woah... this looks a lot better than the Hollywood one I went on..
- "Mom can we go there next year!?" XD
Yes, the one in Orlando is actually way better than the one in Hollywood, CALIFORNIA. It has more rides, better animatronic designs, and in every park of the park, you feel like you're in a movie!
I made a video of my trip to cabana bay in the summer :D! The hotel was awesome!
+Emmboss2006 Awesome! Yeah the time I went, I had gone to Disneyland California for 5 days, then spent a day at Universal studios, CA.
Tessa Parker That's what I'm doing later this month
Thanks for recognizing our park is better then Cali's.
this rides drop scared the hell out of me
The white light at the end is appropriate. I went on this ride alone and was not prepared for that drop! I think I ducked when the raptor came down, haha.
This is one of the best rides in universal! I love this ride!
5:20 is about when my parents should have realized they shouldn't have taken me on the ride. Especially since I did NOT do scary things in the dark. I legitimately screamed going down the last drop.
Bro I almost fell out of it cuz the bar didn’t go down enough 😭
I couldn't breathe on the last drop 🥲
we went two weeks ago and my siblings went under the seat when we saw the t-rex 😂 the staff made the drop lighter because when it was quiet and proceeded to say “isle two do not go under the seat please “ and everyone had a laugh
I remember going on this when I went to Orlando it seems like a nice relaxing ride until you start to go up and then when your done going up it looks like your going to drop but no you drop like a foot and it’s nice and relaxing until you get to the real drop
I’ve only ever heard the beginning voice at Universal Studios Hollywood (well through videos because I was always scared just ACTUALLY go on the ride) so it was weird to hear the voice like this😂
I rode this like 4 times in a row when I went. Nothing beats the feeling of plummeting down that last drop
i just got back from universal studios and i almost went on this ride after i asked one of the workers if it was fast or had any drops. he said “no it’s really slow” but after i saw the tiny ass hump at the very beginning i sat out. my dad came off the ride and told me there was a huge drop and that it was good that i sat out haha
King Kong!"
+sportsygirl8 i went on this ride not even i week ago and didnt get very wet at all haha just sit in the middleish and youll be fine
sportsluva101 Thanks for the advice!!!
It's extremely steep and long, you don't really get that soaked if ur in the middle, overall a really fun ride!
I love how they tell a story with the ride. The climax of the story IS the climax of the ride.
every breath i had in my body LEDT MY SOUL when i went on this and yhe pics were PRICELESS
“These gentle giants pose no threat to us.”
Guys in the boat: “Unless they get scared and start running and trample us.”
I'm watching this video while lining up 😂😂😂 Just to see what happens 😂😌
Went on this ride years ago I just read online they are shutting it down and going to reopen it will be interesting how they improve it
Shawn Afshar both of them or just the one in Hollywood?

I went on this back in 2016 and was such a good ride!! I usually detest rollercoasters and scary rides but this had just the right amount of everything
Brought back some great memories. It was a hot day, that was a fun, cool ride!
Classicanimationfan 687 I hope you are able to experience it.
Classicanimationfan 687 have you gone on it yet?
Should have kept the original fixed it up and added new elements. Getting rid of the door was a huge let down

Great memories. Thank you.

Manda Panda XD
My mom put her arm around when she realized I was actually scared in the containment area. The picture we got had me screaming in terror while holding my mom for dear life.
The T Rex wasn't scary people the droppp wassss
MasterJennaMcLain I hope my parents won’t make me get on the new one they made me get on the old one
Moni Tel I was still a kid when I got on it so of course it was going to scare me
I went to universal studios Hollywood 2 days ago and I like the jurrasic park ride there more
When I went on this ride as a child, my dad went on it before me to check to see how it was as mum didn't want us to go on rides with drops that were too steep. He reported back to us that the drop wasn't too bad and trustingly we all went on the ride. Not only was the drop HELLA steep, my dad said "look over there" and then a giant trex jump scared me by yelling in my face. Several minutes later by dad had several traumatised children and a annoyed wife. Watching this video was like PTSD for mw
strange that in the main show building area where the drop is it is quiet with no music playing
i love that ride the final fall is just crazy

Is the drop like anything compared to splash mountain?
this drop is a lot bigger than splash mountain, i think it’s double the size maybe? or im just over exaggerating
When I went on this ride the big black board that keeps you from falling broke right before the big drop! It was TERRIFYING, but still fun.
This is for sure Orlando I was here about three weeks ago looks the same.
The expensive part of Disney is getting there. The park itself isn’t high priced but staying in the area is.
This isnt at Disney
Jacqueline Black Universal studios ahh all the same to me

I LOVED THIS RIDE I'M GOING BACK IN A FEW WEEKS ACTUALLY JARASIC PARK HERE I COME
before the ride started i yelled out to every in a cheery voice WERE ALL GOING TO DIE, YAY..
KaramatsuTrash~ XD
Ravioli Ravioli my first time on a roller coaster was with my friend and we asked someone how it was they said it was cool , and then before it started he shouted were all going to die
Ejthepleb OMG SAME!!!!! we were going on the spider man ride at universal and at the end of the ride he said "the are some drops" so when we went on the ride I had my head under the seat lol the one I look I was in flames...thx Travis
Ravioli Ravioli I think I remember when you yelled when I was in the ride lol xD
Ravioli Ravioli l heard you on it
The kids in front of us on this were casually like, “Oh yeah, there’s a 50 foot drop at the end.” And I’m like “WHAT?!” And I was very scared lol
It’s actually 85 feet! I got on it with some friends with no idea how big the drop was 😭 I enjoyed it overall, but dang was that drop huge
First of all I went on this ride and one girl started with a plastic cup full of a drink and came back with the plastic cup full of a drink. Second of all I went on this ride with my whole fam and a couple of random people and I thought it was nice and relaxing but that first tinsie drop and started screaming crying because I knew we had to go up and down more. After the ride (I was still crying) everyone told me it wasn’t a big drop or steep and now watching this i know they lied to me! I still was so nervous WATCHING it. Imma scaredy-cat
One of my favorites, i rode this 10 times back to back!
Man I remember going on that ride.... My mom let me skip school to go to universal Florida with my sisters (I was in 5th grade) wish I can go back
Oh lord memories are coming back
How many days did you have to stand in line to ride a 8 minute ride?
They should remodel this ride. Make it more realistic. I will say this those. This version is better over the Hollywood one. I like how T-Rex comes out the sec u drop. At the Hollywood one he comes out way too early.
FlixCreEightR they’re now remodelling it to be like Jurassic World
That is shit, Jurrasic world is shit
How much more real can it be?! THEY'RE EXTINCT
TylerAdams i just went on it this weekend and it’s still the same. I’m glad tho, they lowkey ruined the Hollywood one
😂😭He came out way to early
I hope when they do Jurassic world the ride here in Orlando that they can do more. Considering there is more space I feel like they can add more.
When will we be able to go back to these places. Hope this vivid ends soon
Omg, I went on the ride, drop was so steep and you didn't know it was coming, i really hurt my back XD
