Hi, can you let me know between Nexigo PJ40 & Yaber ACE 1, which projector is brighter, better movie experience (image quality), better speaker and lower fan noise? Thanks I’m advance
Litteraly wondering the same thing. Went with the Yaber since it will consistently brighter for longer. Nexigo only is brighter at full fan so if you do decrease the fan at all I think then the Yaber is just brighter straight up. Wanting to replace my TV so since the Yaber is bright all the time i’m going with it for the brightness
So, this seems like the obvious choice over the Ultimea! The menu abd options/settings. Picture seemed almost identical. Hard to tell on my end. Apollo may edge it out slightly. But I really like lots of settings and nice GUI
Thanks for this review. I see in the description this goes until 300" size but what is the minimum size of projection that we will get with this projector?
hi, a bit late but xgimi doesn't have Netflix support so unless you don't need Netflix or are planning on using a fire stick or something of that sort you should consider that!
Has anyone found a good case for this? It's in-between sizes. Most cases are a bit small and the ones I have found to fit are very expensive! Any recommendations would be great. I prefer a hard plastic, Amazon does have a soft fabric bag/case. But looking for case.
@@Anami_ly The guy from YT channel The Hook Up likes the Nexigo better than the Ace. It was his top pick for mid range projector. He does great comparison videos.
I set up this projector today, and I'm using a Roku 4K streaming Stick. But the stick does not recognize the projector as being 4K. So the problem I'm running into is that Netflix and Amazon won't offer 4K or UHD. All I'm getting a standard HD from all the apps. Is there a way to adjust this?
@@ViDeOsThAtDoNtSuCk11 only thing I was able to do was go into the settings on the Roku stick, and it gives you the option to set the resolution. It will recognize the projector has a 1080p but I manually set it to 4K UHD/DOLBY VISION. Netflix still won't broadcast in anything higher than standard HD. Amazon, Paramount show 4K UHD. But is it really broadcasting it through that way I have no clue. 🤷 Now when you go on UA-cam with the Roku stick at the settings you can definitely see the ultra HD. Because we know UA-cam is truly streaming in 4K and higher. Hopefully somebody else that is using this same setup will chime in to what they found.
This is what I bought for my projector, Gator Cases Padded Nylon Mixer/Gear Carry Bag with Removable Strap; 12" x 12" x 5.5" (G-MIXERBAG-1212). It is a perfect fit, padding is okay, outside pocket for remote and cables. Made of excellent cordura, should outlast projector easily. Like that it comes with shoulder strap. Fits nice & compact when I pack for karaoke shows. Was $36.50 when I bought it a couple months ago. You can probably find such a deal online.
I have a stick tv chromecast and I have a Xiaomi projector, and I go into google tv, suddenly the screen becomes a little less bright and it's really not fun to watch movies..., and I wanted to ask you since I saw you have a chromecast, does this pj40 projector see with brightness High on Google TV?
Hey there @fishbee I was wondering how would Nexigo PJ40 do against BenQ TH575 or Optoma 146x. Basically, I am willing to go up to 500-600 USD. My room is pretty dark - there is very little light entering the room. Picture quality for a 106 inch screen is my most
@@FishBeeProductions thanks for replying, in your opinion how do you think nexigo fares against the sub 1000 usd projectors like benq2050a etc. Just wondering since both are 1080p, is it worth spending the extra 500 usd for the picture quality.
There's another really good review on UA-cam that sums it up perfectly, if you want to spend $300 and below - best option is the Nexigo PJ40. $400-600 you're really just "inches away" from the $300 Nexigo in terms of quality UNTIL you hit that $700-800 BenQ or Epson range. Which are supposedly milestones better but for more than double the price you'd expect that
This device seems to be very nice. The improvements from china manufactures are nice to see. The gab between a dlp will be closer and closer....... But one thing I'm gonna puke...... This screw as the stand looks so awful. I hate it
This projector is garbage. Good brightness but video processing sucks! It looks like it's stuck on 30 hz and can't do proper 1080/24p or 60 fps for sports! Do NOT buy!

Sorry I haven't tried that one
can you do a vs video between the PJ20 and PJ40 from nexigo?
Hi, does it reproduces audio codecs avi, mp4, mp3, mkv through usb? I have seen inn other projectors they are not compatible
Are you able to mount this upside down from the ceiling? I didn't see a mounting hole anywhere.
i believe one is the type where you take off the rubber feet on the bottom and the screw holes are under each one
@@FishBeeProductions thank you. How would you compare this one over the pj20? I'm trying to decide what one to get for the bed room.
Does this support both HDR10 and 4K? I would like to know ASAP as I am thinking about getting this?
It does not sure about hdr though
Is this better then the ultimea Apollo P40 in terms of both features and 4K and HDR10?
For me the nexigo pj40 is £100 more than the nexigo pj20. Is it worth the £100 difference? do i get the nexigo pj40?
Yes go pj40 you won’t regret it
@@jared7360 Thanks, but I'm going with the xgimi elfin instead. After watching a bunch of reviews, and stuff
Do you think this is better than the Yaber Ace K1? I saw your review on the Yaber projector but can’t decide.
one advantage you get with the ace k1 is auto focus vs manual focus on the pj40, but probably will depend on which features are more important to you
What about in terms of picture quality? Which one do you think is better?
@@Anami_ly UA-camrs can't suggest one over other for obvious reasons ;-)
At best you will get a diplomatic answer.

depends what kind of setup you have or what features you need, but this is one i just reviewed recently that is a good option: amzn.to/3ZO0FGX
is there no apps / appstore??
For a projector what are you talking about?
