    So it looks like on the newer trimmer heads Ryobi even says you can use .095, so .065 to .095 should be fine. I use .080. You can get line here: amzn.to/33Y2aYd 👍

    I wish you would not have cut the part where you were undoubtedly struggling to get the line through the second hole. That’s where I’m “stuck.” It’s been abused more than yours so maybe that’s the issue. Back at it. UPDATE: After some swearing, starting it from the opposite end, twisting that center piece around as dust and dirt came out, and more swearing, it just went thru. 😊 I’ll be back to my weeded landscape shortly. Thank you!

    Thanks for not imnediately presentimg the newer precut line packages and then proceeding.
    So many of the other posters should put that into their titles--to warn us, who have the older line.
    Two arm-spans--easy-peasy! Too many other posters sinply can't get to the point: (Tediously, they even cut open the packages.)

    Thank you so much. I have this Ryobi CS26!have had it for few years. Still like brand new. Only used it few times. Back in old days I always remembered stringing the line on my grandfathers weedeater. Since I am the only “honey” that is responsible for all “honeydos” I have to admit--if all else fails read instructions (which I didn’t)
    I have only now had to reload it. I know how to use most all tools, but I have to admit…I never knew it was so easy to load the string. I feel pretty silly 😝 a neighbor actually loaded string recently and they did same thing I would have done. Once I saw that the string would not feed when tapping it, decided I better look up to see how to do this properly. 💁🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ THANK YOU 🙏🏻 I prefer to do things on my own so I usually don’t ask for help. Try to figure things out myself. 😝
    Thanks again.

    Mystery solved. Ryobi instructions not really clear and intuition was to try to remove red cap. Thanks - works like a charm.

      Thank you so much. I just got it fixed and found it had line in it. For some reason it had gotten stuck hanging out on one side and stuck in the other side.

  • @tonybrown9595
    @tonybrown9595 3 місяці тому

    How do you make the line longer after putting it in there?

    • @SeidelRanch
      @SeidelRanch  3 місяці тому

      You bump it on the ground when it's running. The red cap pushes up on a spring and releases a little bit of line while it's spinning.

  • @Jhuey22
    @Jhuey22 4 місяці тому
