Give Bowen his own show. One of the best football analysts in the game!
Agreed. Enjoyed him as a guest on sports talk live years ago
He’s overrated he said Mitchell Trubisky would be a Hall of Fame quarterback. He’s like the Joe Rogan of analyst.
@@michaelhorwitz7933everyone makes mistakes
@@dnice33 at one time he said Mitchell Trubisky as all the intangibles and I quote to become a Hall of Fame quarterback
@@michaelhorwitz7933 again. Everyone makes mistakes. This is not an exact science
I'll be honest...I don't care what the Bears do at 9 because it all seems like a win / win scenario. Take a blue chip at 9? *Awesome.* Trade down for more picks and talent? *Awesome.*
Literally a win-win.
If it's a top heavy talent draft please no trading down. And I agree. Take the best player no matter the posistion
Bowers is a highlight machine.....and will continue to be
Plays at around 6’3, 233lbs. If you want that, at a position we are set for the foreseeable future future, sure.
@@OhioVworldBPA over need.
@@Portuducks Either way Bowers doesn’t qualify.
Bowen reminds me of Doug so much
The great teams have one thing in common they got great tight ends we need our Travis Kelce are George kittles
Take the top ten pick while we have the opportunity! We shouldn’t be in this position for a long time!
We will have the panthers pick tho. So they’ll be bad still
Still have a feeling we take Byron Murphy.
If we trade down to #20 or lower, get a 2nd and 3rd or more for #9, maybe.
Murphy at 9? No way.
It was a different sport, but the Portland Trailblazers did not need a shooting guard so they passed on Michael Jordan…. I agree it is hard to pass up a very strong player.
The hype on needing a pass rusher is overblown. the Bears had 18 of their 30 sacks in the last 8 games, which by itself extrapolates to almost 40 per season and that does not take into account the likely improvement of their young guys and the D-line in general being more familiar with each other after a season. Obviously, Poles, with his playing background, should know how important a need the O-line is to take one at 9. I'd bet that Poles likes the way Brock Bowers plays and what he can do, so if Waldron believes that Bowers would really fit into his offense - and he's still there - it could be a really good pick.
Maybe. I honestly think they stay at 9 and pick the best player there. Offensive line, receiver, edge rusher, tight end, whoever grades the highest. The offensive line isn't as bad as they appeared last year in the first half of the season. Blocking for a mobile quarterback is the biggest ask for an offensive line. They never knew where he was or going to be. If Joe Alt is there and they take him I'm pleased. If Alt is there and they take a receiver it's a good thing as well. If a tackle, a receiver, and a tight end are there and they take an edge rusher, awesome. The Bears take Williams then a rush for remaining quarterbacks and Marvin Harrison jr could leave two picks who aren't a quarterbacks or Marvin Harrison Jr before the Bears pick again. It's almost like they have the 1 and 5 picks and that ain't bad. I guess I'm saying we haven't seen fortune like this for the Bears in...forever. let it play out and try to trust Poles. I'm sure he's done his homework. There will be a ton of talent to pick from and the offensive line will be fine. At least much better than the last couple years.
@@nalvarado65 That's Poles M.O. He's strictly a BPA guy, position be damned. The only question is who would be tops on his board when he's on the clock for the 9th pick.
Why is no one talking about DJ Moore? he's still deadly.
He's already under contract for at least two more years and is a proven commodity. This is really more of a focus on which rookie can best help the team.
Bowen is the best
Coach Covert loved calling the option.
Can’t go wrong with line play imo but I can’t imagine being disappointed with any pick or even trading down.
I would take Brock Bowers he's a weapon
Me too
Glenbard south gang rise up
always i watch these two when they come up on my screen. always. always.
Berstein is so full of himself. He believes he’s the most cerebral sport talk analyst.
Rome Odunze no matter what
I'm not a big Bowers fan. To me he is a tweener and I don't like small guys at TE. He's not tiny but he's only 6'3". He has good speed but he seems like a gadget guy. I also think TE is typically a slow developing position in the NFL.
Bears.....
What tv were you watching Dan that had Cole Kmet as a top 10 TE last year.Bad TV .Just look at the list of starting TE’s maybe he’s 12 or 13 but top 10 Heck No
He was technically ranked 9 by PFF. I think he’s closer to 12-13 though off skill
Absolutely zero chance Nabers makes it to 9.
Brother, can you do me a favor and tell me how you felt about Justin? Where do you have him ranked? Doesn't even have to be an exact ranking, a general range is fine.
@@tonyk7387 Fields?
@@cardboardinkcollector3639 yes lol but the question was for dude who asked which TV Dan was watching. He thinks Kmet is not top 10 so I'm just curious how he views Justin
Wow…Dan looks terrible. Bring on some young blood.
