Hi. I saw your video in the electric pull down stairs. Did you make the stairs or buy? If you bought, do you remember from whom? My friend is losing her mobility and an motorized drop down stairs would be perfect. Would you mind sharing how you were able to obtain this solution?
I swear I have watched every motorized stair video and no one shares what type of hinge they used. Im planning on using some heavy duty T-hinges will let you know how that works
Hi there. I just used regular hinges. I'm no structural engineer, but from what I could tell there wasn't enough weight on the hinges to cause me concern. I did lag them in pretty good with 2" and 3" screws, not the little ones that come with. I used 3-3" hinges.
