Its so nice seeing someone do a similar study to how I learn when it comes to art! Practicing real life can get things to look so much better because you’ll know how they work but I found that after I do a personal piece I feel more inclined to do a study. Your doing amazing and your studies help me a lot too!
OMGG!! Kuroblood is my favorite arknights artists im so glad you studied him! Edit: I may be heavily biased but I think this is your best style replication yet! It genuinely looks like how Kuroblood would draw BP and seeing how you and him use analogous color schemes really opened my eyes to his process. Great work as always!
I think saving your notes for later works fine, but I personally preferred it at the beginning of the video as it prepares you a bit more to better understand your process when you start the drawing. I really love these videos. I especially appreciate your explanation of layer modes, since I'm trying to learn more about digital art. Also, your taste in Arknights artists is based! Lol sorry, just had to gush a bit! Keep up the great work! 👍
I’ve never been a fan of the Background of the original and if the Punching Bag wasn’t there I would think she’s in a Fancy Washroom (maybe she is and just put up the PBag there 🧐) Yours Definitely has the feel of Waai Fu’s E2 & Skin Art an Explosion of Stuff around the Character and I really like it The Frog plushies, Water ripples at the bottom, the Crossbow bolts shooting out, Her new pose & holding the Crossbow, even the Punched PBag all add more that I like a lot. Great Job on this, one of your best yet I’d say 👏👏
This video is awesome! I've never heard of this artist but I'm always trying to make my art "bolder". But everytime, I stay in comfort zone lol Edit: 4:52 Also thanks for the tip! Because I've been doing the slow way this whole time-
Oh god damn i absolutely love how it turned out, honestly i'm astonished how fast you're improving by learning from the artists you love and it's so good. Blue Poison is also perfect for this. And yeah this way of making wids flows way better and felt like a really smooth transition between everything, keep it up!!!!
This is super helpful. I always wanted to draw an artwork with this kind of background but didn't know where to start with the background. I really have to think what would suit the character I want to draw best 🤔 I love seeing you draw. You were right that the frogs didn't look like frogs at first, but when you added the pattern on their back, I knew immediately they were frogs. They are super cute, regardless the pattern. Love how this artwork turned out! Keep up the great work ❤
Not to be a bother, but would it be possible to get your study notes as a pdf or zip file in a Google Drive link? It's fine if not, just thought I'd ask.

I would love to see you draw Mulberry in that other Kuroblood style. I think it would really suit her.

This was a fantastic breakdown! I really liked the final results, and I might implement your studies into mines when I have the opportunity!
