Loving the Christmas lights, a nice festive touch. Good advice on packing what you need and not worry too much about the weight. Best to be dry and warm up on the hills. Great video Gordon. All the best for 2022 xx
Thankyou Rachel, I've come to the conclusion that I'm always going to be the slow old duffer at the back so I may as well be comfy when I get there 😂 All the best to you and yours too, HNY.XX
Thanks for the liquid pouches link. I've been looking for those for milk and of course, my port :D Can't do without my port!! ;) Drank too much at our/my first camp - what a lightweight :D
Great we camp lots of brilliant tips. I was out a couple of weeks ago in my cloud peak, was thinking it would be a good idea to peg this out first when I was struggling to stop it blowing away.
Hi Gordon, good to see you out, I’m planning a camp next weekend. Can you tell me what the name of your food storage bag is please or provide a link. Thanks.
Nice one Gordon happy new year 😃, one of these days I’ll get out for a camp ⛺️ hopefully soon, but I think I’ll wait for better weather lol 😂 ATB Trev 👍👍
One of the great things I enjoyed about your channel was the reviews of cheaper gear, ie nature hike cloud peak 2, ice flame quilt etc,now I see it’s a Hilleberg and a ugq quilt plus Thermarest xtherm! All top stuff, any reason your not putting the cheaper stuff through it’s paces? Cheers, Ed, Somerset
Evening Boss, sorry for the late response. I hear you, just a bit of 'progression' really, I still have the cheaper stuff and its done me proud but I have upgraded bits of it over time. especially for doing a few winter camps I wanted something 'bombproof'. I'm sure the other gear will be used once again for the summer trips. Thanks for watching and hope you can bear with me, all the best, GJ
Waaaaaaa love it pal 👏👏👏 your tent looked the best! Great tips! Is your UGQ blanket the hybrid blanket? Dose it have a foot box. HNY buddy 👍 #spunj galore 🤣

@@ashropshirelad haha Yes the goalzero micro, I was also looking at the pump with the light built in too.. seems like a wise £20, does the battery last a full night after a pumping session?
It does indeed, It only has to blow that bed the once and all the juice Is left for the light, The Goal Zero just never seems to die though, we all had them at the Mafia gathering and they were on for about 8-10 hours on full power and they still had two bars left on the battery!!!

Really enjoyable, lovely to get away from it all in that "dead zone" between Christmas and New Year. I've been looking for liquid carrying bags like the one you had the port in everywhere, what make are they?
Hi there Dylan, Ive put some references in the notes under the video, the only thing I could paste was a Ebay Number, let me know of it doesnt work and I'll try and get a link

Hi I'm a recent subscriber and I really enjoy your vids. Can I ask how many lbs/pounds was your pack fully loaded because I'm quite New to this and I'm about the same build as you so would like to know roughly please regards Dean 😉👍
Morning Dean, I would say that whatever I do the pack weight ends up around 12-15kgs. thats with food, water and all those little extra bits that we seem to shove in at the last minute.
