      Taste assessment? I've described it. There was too much caffeine today due to research on AeroPress

    excellent video. I love this type of coffee but never really able to make it well at home. I stick to making espresso at home but will try this again with this knowledge. I didn't catch the ratio of coffee to water. I think you said 10g of coffee and I heard you say 60 degree C water but wasn't sure how much. I guess it also depends on the vessel you use to make it. I love that glass one you are using. Thanks so much for this video.

      For Cezve, a 1:10-ratio works fine 👌

      @@chrys0gonus thanks. i didn't realize he had so many videos, I am watching them all. this is very exciting as i love light roast specialty coffee (Tim Wendelboe) and only make espresso but eager to try this method!

      @@constantinedinocopses6806 give it a try! Cezve makes absolute delicious coffee. To get rid of the sediments, i pour the cezve into the Aeropress, and filter the coffee through the metal mesh. This way you have all the tasty oils in your cup, but no coffee crumbs. 😊 Cheers from Austria 🖖

      Filtering is not necessary, but a metal filter will definitely be better than paper)

      @@wendstudio_coffee i agree that it‘s not necessary. But it‘s more convenient to drink. Plus, pouring the coffee from the cezve into the cup via the non-preheated Aeropress helps it to cool down faster 😉
      Thanks for all your Cezve-related content, I really dig your channel 🤘 After seeing your videos I pulled my old (cheap but workable) Cezve out of the back of the closet again. Today I own a custom-made cezve from the last copper-turner in Austria (Rudolf Effenberger). Excellent pot! 👌Keep up making Cezve great again! 🤘 Cheers!

    Which of these 3 grind sizes tasted the best?

    • @wendstudio_coffee
      @wendstudio_coffee  3 дні тому

      It depends. Sometimes too small grind size (first setting) covers the flavors with the intensity too much. But I will make a ratio comparison with 0.7 setting (the one which I've skipped).
      Anyways, it's only "nice to have", not necessary. All of the coffee will have a "Turkish coffee" character

    А можно добиться очень мелкого помола в ножевой кофемолке?

  • @noobsabbot1133

    Nice research, thank you. Did you notice any difference in the final product when drinking the coffee between the different grind sizes?

    • @wendstudio_coffee
      @wendstudio_coffee  4 дні тому +5

      As usual, difference in body (mouth feel). Small particles are always allow to dissolve more oils (at least I think of it that way). Making the flavor "thicker". And overall extraction is higher that way due to the bigger contact surface of particles.
      In theory, a higher ratio can be used with the smaller grind size (like 1:12).
      But I keep it simple and just adjust the overall intensity or clarity by changing the grind size. Cleaner flavors - bigger grind size. More intensity and rich flavor - smaller

    шта? кину може зробити помол дрібніше ніж мехмет? не знав і думав, що спеціальна турецька кава сама дрібніша. А ще які кавомолки так вміють?
