Found you through 3ply podcast and I just adore your videos. My parents are from Ireland, I was born in Jersey and we came to Australia when I started school. I was born in 1967 so this is lovely it’s like I’m having a chat to what could’ve been family. All of our family is still in Ireland so this has been lovely to listen to you, hear your mother and just enjoy the chinwag 🥰

Welcome, as you'll hear my aunt and brother live in Ireland so we have connections there. I have quite a lot of family in Australia. They went out on the £10 ticket and stayed. Enjoy chinwag.

Thanks Sarah. My daughter Kim said she felt sick at the thought of picking up a needle and so during lockdown I helped her on zoom overcome that feeling, probably left over from school, and she has completed her own quilt which is neater and I think, better than mine! It gives me a thrill. She is now following Sandra Paul and crocheting blankets as well as quilting and embroidery. Crafting is such a lovely thing to pass on and has been so helpful to so many during the last couple of years. I'm loving your comments by the way!

Thank you so much Helen, lovely words from you. Looks like you are starting at the beginning of my journey. Just to let you know there are three playlists. 1 - Penelope's Chinwag. 2 - Transactional Analysis which starts in episode 12 and made into their own playlist after viewers asked me and 3 - the short film I make for the ending of Chinwag. Enjoy!

hi - in my little town, wabi-sabi is the name of our thrift store (charity shop)! the perfect name, yes? (btw, i love the differences in our shared language) loved your 3 yo portrait - what a happy child you were, which has most definitely carried you throughout the years - you are so fun to watch, love your happiness and how upbeat you are - i could take a lesson... and in 1949, the US govt declared ufos false, and now, 73 years later - they've changed their minds! love the moon shots - i spy on him here with my 10x40 binocs

I love that word and to think it's the name of a thrift shop! I look for the moon every night too. A constant in our lives.

Do you grow your own garden? The flowers are beautiful.

Yes, we like to garden in a natural way encouraging the bees and butterflies. Pete lets a good bit of the grass grow long with the flowers and cuts that back in August. But we have guys to cut the trees and hedges. Thanks for joining me. xx
