- We are out on the water testing 2 very popular tenders - the True Kit Navigator 3.0m and the Discovery 2.8m. Both are similar weight and general size. Both are very stable and easily driven making them ideal as tenders, but also as fishing and diving platforms. You can check out further information on them at www.truekit.nz

Good little comparison. Thanks!
Love them
I cant find any video of using them in a nasty chop which would be good to see and the difference between wetness of the cat vs enclosed one
Of course its going to be considerably wetter but for alot situations it doesnt matter
RoKKit KiT has a Cat and use it in High Waves never seems to me that water gets in, the cats floor stops in a high height so I Think you really have to push it to get Water in from the front
Have you tested the Navigator 350 with the 6hp. I wonder how fast it is. Want to take a lighted outboard if I can. Will it be able to plane?
Still no answer huh?
Thanks Rod. Interesting test. So with more waterline length would that improve efficiency and performance, eg speed? We are considering the navigator 4m over the discovery 3.3m.
Should add I will be using a tohatsu 18hp 2 stroke engine.
It's not quite that simple. With everything else being the same, longer waterline will be faster. But as you move up through our Navigator range all the parameters get bigger like tube size, beam, weight and windage. Our Navigator 4.0m is a large, high volume boat with huge carrying capacity and I would expect it to be a bit slower than the Discovery 330
TRUEKIT.NZ thanks heaps Rod. I wouldnt have known that.
Is that a 2 stroke you running there, here in the UK we are all stuck with 4 strokes would you get the same performance
Yes that's a 2-stroke. Performance likely similar, just a bit more weight with a 4-stroke
Hi, What speeds would you get with a 10hp with the 3.3, and can you take a dog on these?
Around 30kph and yes the boats are dog friendly
@@roddawson3855 thanks for responding, I'm actually checking out your website as I'm typing....very intrested , is your website up to date with your "collection" prices and products? Thanks
@@Jiml3ob All prices are up to date Jim
Does the smallest of your tender accept a 9.8 tohatsu? I mean, the heavy of that engine?
No the 2m is rated to 4hp
can you dem with a range of engines to gauge performance?
Yes, we do have more videos planned showing characteristics with a range of outboards
Which one would tow behind a sailboat better?
Also want to know the answer to this important question.
Thank you. Is one of them dryer than the other?
They are very similar
Do you ship to USA?
Yes we ship daily
Why are you creating such a wake in that area?
I cant wait to buy a 10ft dinghy for my 20ft sailboat😂
Что то брызг сзади от мотора очень много. Надо мотор поднять, транец выше сделать.
You people and your kilometers per hour you're in a boat dude it's knots
Still an accurate form of measurement, and useful for people that aren't able to make sense of knots.
