Hey man, it has been ran on two maps. once at 270bhp and currently on 245bhp safe map as my fuel pressure regulator kept losing pressure so needs changing.
@@DWcrazyDW hey bro I have one auto what I need to do to get it turbo and manual and front Mount intercultural pleas tale me all the things I need all the things
@@KyoPwnsU not sure if your still interested. But the 1uz didn't feel like it made much difference to the handling. Believe it or not, the 1uz is quite a light engine for a big V8.
Hey dude, was a while ago I did the conversion. But at the time when I did it, parts were also cheaper. I'd say it cost around £2500-£3000. But can probably be done cheaper. If you know what your doing it's not all that hard. However I did have help from experienced people who have done similar conversions.
Do you know if the blue emanage included in the td04 16t kit has a map that I can drive around until I can afford a proper tune? Sorry kind of a dumb question but just wanna make sure before I buy the kit lol
Sorry I can't answer that. When I bought my kit, I also bought an apexi power FC with it that I then had custom mapped. I had a recovery truck take it to a tuner as I didn't want to drive it too far unmapped.
Hi mate. Yes it was the original 3SGE beams, No longer have the car anymore. But at the time was running the greddy TD04 turbo kit, however this turbo is a little too small and would recommend bigger. Had 12psi running which I also wouldn't recommend on stock engine. Had the kit mapped twice, once at 245bhp and once at 270bhp. Using a Apexi power FC ecu
@@sonsofkiribati Because at 270bhp it wasn't very stable and the power delivery would sometimes drop off. The mapper noticed that the fuel pressure regulator was dropping off and needed replacing, but also because the turbo needed to be replaced as it was being pushed too far. He recommended a bigger turbo, and upgraded fuel reg and should see it running those figures alot more steady. But I ended up selling the whole kit and replacing it with a 1uz V8
Thanks for reply mate , I have same set up and going push it to 280bhp , I will take in consideration your set up wisely as I’m heading that way with stock internal , in saying that my other motor not too far away from getting if forge , your reply mate is much appriciated
Hey, I no longer own the car, and had 3sge removed and fitted with a 1uz before sale. However the turbo kit and engine I used was fitted in another altezza and still going strong. From research, as long as you don't run too high psi and hp on stock internals, it still remains pretty reliable.
It cost me around £2k to turbo with everything including an apexi ecu with fc handcommander, it was a used kit but very good condition and still runs like a peach now.
awesome stuff such a good motor to turbo. i just got my hands on an power fc with map sensor, did you change anything about the motor itself, the headgasket or anything?
samaxeman123 motor is pretty much stock, only thing I that has been upgraded on the engine itself was the injectors. As long as you run safe boost and not over do it then the standard motor should be fine.
xXJDM DRIFTZXx no mate it was the 3SGE beams fitted which is standard in altezza but I had it turboed. No longer in there now as I've decided to do a 1uz v8 conversion.
Nope never blown the turbo. That was from the mapping session 😆. Went to collect the car and the exhaust pipe was too short and burnt some of the bumper.
Fair play! Sounds great
Amazing
That bumper a lil toasted
Sick
0:55 turbo 😎😏
How much horsepower does your Altezza make with the turbo kit installed? Nice Altezza, btw. I was thinking about importing an Altezza someday. xD

@@DWcrazyDW That is not too crazy. 60 horses gain is great but the ghetto style black colouring around the exhaust tip looks a bit ugly.
Sweet man looks powerful
thanks pal, it's amazing. Turbo kit and engine will be up for sale soon as I've just bought a 4.0 v8 to drop in it
Keep her between the ditches haha
turbo kit for sale?
SXE KINGZ unfortunately I sold it a few weeks ago.
@@DWcrazyDW how much did it make, and is it on fully stock internals or?
Need a longer exhaust pipe. Looks like she shat herself. If you still have it.
It's had a brand new custom exhaust system made since having its 1uz V8 conversion. Exhaust now sits perfect 😉

@@DWcrazyDW I don't think he cares bro or he died
How much did you make on the kit and was it on stock internals?
Most it made on this kit was 270bhp. And yes internals were stock.
how much did the 1uz swap cost and how hard was it?

What do i need to make my altezza sound like that??
The exhaust in this video was custom made. However it's had a new custom made exhaust since it's recent 1uz engine conversion.

Hi. I purchased the kit from a trader via drift works.
I no longer have it as I sold it on to fund my 1uz conversion.

George Ganderton made by local exhaust shop called longlife in South Wales.
Curious how is reliability with the stock internals?
