I make my electric chicken color exclusively with black flake. I was sitting here chanting I my head, “I swear if he doesn’t use black I’m gonna flip out” and the sigh of relief I had when you did made my day.

I like the new shrimp mold I have one suggestion make a way to add a plastic eye for a way to make a strike point.
That’s quite a engineering marvel to make that bait laminate. Great job guys.
I really like that second color you made. I'd live to see a swim bait that color with a clear/silver flake belly. Please explore that color some more 😊

They are excellent looking baits! They've worked really good for me under a popping cork (cajun thunder style) the cork brings them in and the shrimp finishes them off! Excellent video! Ive been using the open pour with mf's penny copper! Makes a killer new penny color.
Copper works well in saltwater baits no doubt
Loved the video, man! In fact, Shrimp molds are by far the most used kind of molds in Brazil as snook fishing is really popular here. And i even actually own a brazilian branded mold that is made in a similar configuration to the one you just showed us, its a smart way to get those eye slots easily filled. Anyway, please keep those shrimp videos coming! 🦐🤙

Chris, great presentation! Love the mold. Being your fishing opportunities have become so scarce, have you ever considered requesting pictures and videos from your bait customers showing catches with the baits? It would be cool to see the ultimate result of your efforts more often.

@@WorldsWorstFishing so I am about to start shooting my own plastics but I’m going to be starting with recycling old plastics before buying plastisol (only cause I just inherited 90lbs of soft plastics) what would I need to worry about for extras I’m new only thing I have ever done is watch your channel

Having a little trouble with my laminate pour. I get confused on some molds on witch is top and bottom and where should I be on temperature when shooting laminate molds?

verticle shrimp mold could be solved by prefilling eyes and letting them set.
play with different eye colors on bodies
bright blue eyes on a darker pink body
oooh! a devil red eyes on black body
Why don't you try to add some 40-60 lb mono to simulate legs

Skirt mold is like that.... curious to see if folks with shooting star have issues.
It won't fit a air vice..but a shooting star is just a fancy dual injector..will work just fine
@WorldsWorstFishing i have issues with my shooting star injector in the skirt mold is why i asked.... i guess i will find out soon if this shrimp mold works (or not) .... thanks
@asand991 interesting..that makes no sense to me..skirt molds fill great with a regular hand injector 🤔
@WorldsWorstFishing yessir, regular injector works great, but shooting star injector has two little bits that extend out from bottom .... and the holes in the skirt mold are very shallow.... injector tip cant seat all the way in there.... thats what i experience anyways lol... maybe its just me???

This is kinda disappointing, I saw this mold as was really excited, but why not individual injection? Your double injection only came out well on the middle 2 the top and bottom didn’t laminate well at all
individual port is even less reliable...you only do that if you absolutely have to...cant please em all
@@WorldsWorstFishing that hasn’t been my experience, all the molds I have that are individual port shoot perfect ,good laminates and no dents, the ones that don’t do well are single port, that’s just my experience

You are fishing the shrimp way to fast. You need to almost dead fish it. Let it sit and just move it a little bit at time.
Good to know...when I've used them before on popping corks, we twitched it pretty fast..wasn't on the bottom tho

Came here to make this comment. I fish in Australia but I think prawns are prawns and fish are fish. Also, could go way lighter on the jighead (1/16 or less) cast tight to structure and stay in contact as it slowly sinks. Best way to fish prawn plastics I believe.
