There was a café in Paisley run by the Porelli family in the late fifties-- I can still taste the hot blackcurrant we drank there on the way home from the ice-rink.....
As a Scot in Mexico im salivating watching this. That said street food here is the best in the world. Want to see a Mexico City tour if not done already.
I miss deep fried pizza so bad. I’m from Edinburgh. I remember having half pizza and chips for lunch at high school for £1 from the chippy van that used to come by the school 😂 that certainly wouldn’t be allowed these days!
Same, and I’ve actually seen pictures online of places that make it with that golden crusty butter covering the pizza but it doesn’t look like this is the standard, at least not at chip shops!
@@DanFandelli oh you online 😂 listen I’m in Edinburgh looking some nice kind off street food or something like it can you suggest something? That’s why I was looking on UA-cam some food experience in Edinburgh but not many videos Cheers
You should definitely go to "the piemaker", tasty pies and really cheap! Also look for "the haggis box" if you fancy trying haggis, they have a street food cart but they always move location in Edinburgh so don't rely on google maps. You might want to stop at the pakora bar if you like indian food, their pakoras are awesome!
@@DanFandelli def will go to pie makers I saw it looks delicious but not fancy Haggies and my stomach it’s not for spices bomb to be honest for Indian food 😂

ty for showing all the menus!! especially in the UK and Ireland!!
That haggis pie looks amazing, next time I'm in Edinburgh I need to have a visit to the Pie Maker shop.
All of that looks delicious, especially the mac & cheese pie & deep fried pizza. The Scots know how to live!
It looks utterly disgusting.
Thanks, great down to earth content!
Wow thank you so much! You are first person of my UA-cam life to have donated!! Thanks for supporting this channel my friend 🫶🏻
I'm coming back in Oct '22. My last visit '19. My parents & family are all from Ayrshire & still there. I grew up with this food. Nothing better! Ty

I was in Edinburgh at the New Year and it was crazy busy but so friendly you wouldn't believe it.
Scottish people are all a very friendly bunch indeed!
My wif3 were there about ten years ago and found of all things an Italian restaurant….it was fantastic 😀
Going Edinburgh next week going to go and try the fried pizza
Yeah man you should try it, I think I'm also going back to Edinburgh for the Fringe in August
@@DanFandelli can’t wait my friend hope you have a good time. More off the same videos please

I personally didn't see any "bad" eating habits on your part 😁 Keep up the good work 🏆
Thanks, such words are needed after one eats deep fried pizza with brown sauce 😂
Great job well done
Thanks for watching Jaspreet!
Just tried the chicken wings in whisky today up here and they were fantastic - wouldn't have had that combo!
Where was the place with the whisky wings??
@@klmethot wings, it's on fishmarket close just off the royal mile on the left. It's on your left. There's over 100 choices of chicken wing.

bizarre lol, love it!
Glad you liked it man!
This was helpful!!!
Glad to hear that!!
Personally, I prefer a deep-fried Snickers over the mars bar but the mars bar is the original variation.
Same for me actually, I only went for the Mars bar the first time just because it’s iconic 😁
I always thought deep fried pizza would have batter around it
Same, and I’ve actually seen pictures online of places that make it with that golden crusty butter covering the pizza but it doesn’t look like this is the standard, at least not at chip shops!
love a haggis pie
Ah, same man..
I’m hungry now 😩
Try a battered scotch pie just ask the chip shop they should do it for you buddy
Battered scotch pie sounds awesome, will have to try it next time I am in Edinburgh, thanks mate!
4 quid for a deep fried mars bar...wtf....and they had a cheek to advertise that as though it was a bargain.
Indeed, they are pretty expensive 😕
The brown sauce is BBQ sauce, Scottish pie is great to try, thanks.
Actually it looks like bbq sauce but brown sauce is a different thing, you should try it if you are in the UK!
That Macaroni pie looks fucking unbelievable
ahaha yeah it was really really good!
