Welcome to another street food vlog 2021 where I show some of the best Glasgow food (warning: asmr mouth sounds :D)!
Today I went for a Glasgow street food tour rather than visiting one of the many Glasgow restaurants. If you are looking for a Glasgow meal, whether it's for a lunch or brunch, these street food stalls will satisfy your appetite.
I first went for an authentic street food beef burger at Golden Grill, which in my opinion, easily competes with those gourmet burger you can find in restaurants in Glasgow west end. Then I went for the best greek street food taste test I could have possibly hoped for: authentic greek gyros street food at MacTassos, in absolute, one of the best place in Glasgow for takeaway. The gyro was so big, it almost turned into a Glasgow food challenge day ahah. Finally I went to Falafel to go, eating falafel for the first time, and it was an amazing conclusion to this street food trip.
This is a travel for food channel and I enjoy eating street food around the world! Eating street food from different countries is what keeps me alive :D

Having lived in Glasgow 30 years and become very proud of the dear wee place, I was pleased to see so many shots of city life - including the helpful lady when you asked her the way. There was a street café in Mansfield Park, Partick, which was very good. Called Street and Arrow, it is staffed by ex-convicts to help them get on the straight and narrow - hence the name. I don't know if it's still there post-lockdown though.
Thanks for the suggestion, will remember to check it out, their facebook page seems decently active so maybe they are still open!

My wife and I had a gyros during our trip to Glasgow and it was lovely.
We saw 'Falafel to Go' but didn't try it, although there wewre often queues there, which is usually a good sign.
Have you tried 'the Auld Tram' in Dundee, which also look to be quite popular.

If you don't struggle with your burger and it isnt juicy and messy, can you really call it a burger? That burger looked amazing and the gyro, good lord man. That was proper good !!
100% agree man, clean burger doesn’t exist in my vocabulary 😝
