Boilies are to sell to the fishermen, not necessarily for the fish!! How many times there would have sweetcorn on a hair amongst the particle mix been taken where the boilie was ignored?
boilies arent a natural food source they are mainly added to add scent since they give off scent over a prolonged period of time. they are also used in waters wheres theres a lot of breams/tench. personally i would switch out the boilies to some tigernuts these being more natural and so more trustworthy to the fish they also dont completely get crushed by the fish and the fish will poop them out in pieces and another fish can pick up those pieces making your feeding area last longer. sorry if you read but already knew this 😅

Some people from certain parts of the world eat carp from some proper dirty run down uk 🇬🇧 lakes I can’t get my head round it when you can get fish & chips from a shop for £1.00 the monks used to stock pounds for there food back in the days but why are people still going on like it’s the 1800s and stopping or children enjoying this beautiful sport leaving our lakes empty I’ve seen one lake with proper sewage pissing in and mans eating the carp out of there which have battled years of neglect and run down waters some people are proper dirty but don’t destroy our waters for you selfish gain 🎣 there’s food banks in the uk 🇬🇧 no need to eat fish with a belly full of 💩. And rat piss
