    WHat other colour fire extinguishers are there apart from red and what do the different colours, if any, mean?

      Hi Joseph. In Australia fire extinguishers are colour coded based on their type;
      Red Cylinder = Stored Pressure Water Fire Extinguisher
      Red Cylinder / White Horizontal Band = Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher
      Red Cylinder / Black Horizontal Band = Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Fire Extinguisher
      Red Cylinder / Blue Horizontal Band = Foam Fire Extinguisher
      Red Cylinder / Oatmeal Horizontal Band = Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher
