The wide splits makes defenses show their true calls and he knows how to exploit it every single drive. Whether the wide splits makes a running lane, or wide split forces the db’s to play man coverage.

Yeah, when teams want to go split safeties, those wide splits can pull 5-6 guys completely out of the run fit. They can also really isolate those R&S-style vertical choice routes (I didn't talk about them in the video, but a Seam read has a lot of room to work with in this system).

How successful would this be back in the day with the Raiders and Steelers . You have to jam those receivers and send more than they can block on offense to hurry the QB. I can’t believe they just turn these receivers loose without any contact.
I think that playing some kind of Man-Free definitely solves a lot of things, but Tennessee has some answers. They love running this stuff out of Stacks and with a lot of Switch releases, which makes it hard to jam the guy that's off the ball. In Man-Free you've also got just 6 in the box, so you can't bring more than they can block. This year as a personnel issue, against Man-Free one of their go-to answers will be to run Slot Choice or Switch, where the outside WR does something short to hold the CB, and then lets Hyatt run down the sideline behind him 1-on-1 with no Safety help. If you cheat the FS over to Hyatt then you're exposing the middle of the field on their Choice routes. Probably your best bet is to force Hooker to throw Digs over the middle, but it's a tough offense to stop.

For now I just have to build up the subscriber base to sustain those videos, because there's not a ton of search traffic for coaches who aren't active right now. Really hard. When Mac Brown was still at Texas, he was asked how you stop Briles' Baylor offense, and his response was "Nobody stops Baylor!" Looking at the 2021 offenses coming out of that tree, Jeff Lebby's Mississippi offense was #6, Heupel was #9, and Kendall Briles' Arkansas offense was #28. The biggest issue is that the wide splits mess up a lot of typical responses to the RPO game, so that spacing gives this system an advantage over defenses as they've evolved over the last 10 years. Those splits also force defenders to declare their leverage and put them in a lot of space, which lets those downfield choice routes go nuts. It's a really,, really hard combination to stop.
The example used around 11:30 looks to be pre-planned routes where it’s a very common and simple concept. It looks to me like the WR’s both know what route they are gonna run and it’s a simple read by the QB of the safety trying to help the wheel or help with the dig route. Either way one of your WR’s will have an advantage. But a lot more variables can happen right here on offense or defense. The offense could also run a quick slant by the outside wr and a quick bubble by the inside and QB reading the player by the 30. If he bites on the slant a bubble will easily get 5 yards and if he tries to take away the bubble then the slants gonna be well underneath the safety and gain an easy 5 or possibly a big gain. Also a possibility I see is the LB by the 30 blitzing and leaving the two defenders left playing man. It’s why I like football because it’s a chess game for the OC/DC
This would be true if you separated the TN offense from its tempo. There’s not enough time to designate routes like that from a no huddle, therefore it’s a R&S situation where you’re relying on your WRs to make good reads.
