General Grievous is my most favorite Character of all time I love everything about him... I love all of his versions...all of his incarnations... His voice actors... His story... His life... His Species... His Faction... Everything... Long live The Knightslayer, The Jedi Hunter, The Supreme General of the CIS Long Live...General Grievous
+Lord Zorrex{Wrath of the Emperor} i personally preferred the overall conflict between the republic and CIS. felt more engaging then the rebellion vs the empire. most likely because i truly felt for the relationships between the jedi and their clones.
I agree with this Luner.I wish the Galactic Empire won due to their tech being overwhelming.AT-ATs,AT-STs,TIE bombers and numerous divisions. They should have beaten a few mere rebels.
i wish they kept grievous like how he was in the older clone wars cartoon. Crazy fast and able to fight with his feet, (Unorthodox style?) that was so damn badass,
Сидор Стар. That's due in part to the fact that the creators had to make his character more family friendly for the show. He was able to defeat a hoard of undead night sisters, the horned jedi and nearly defeat Kenobi at least once, also despite being less brutal he still did something to a random clone that unbalanced Obi wan Kenobi. I do agree with you that he could have been handled better but even he can't beat plot armor.
This video is amazing! It portrays Grievous exactly the way he really is - a tragic character, with a moving background story, with motives you actually can understand, he's not just "evil", he has reasons to do what he does. He is the jedi-killer, his enemies are afraid of him and he successfully leads the droid armies of the CIS unlike any other General could. That's the real Grievous, that's what he'll always be like for me - not that loosing, escaping wimp that TCW tries to make out of him!
A tribute ive been waiting for and so happy i found it! Great job! Its a shame the animated series and the film dont do him justice...he really is an amazing character, he was once good but lost everything and everyone he cared about. In the original animated episodes i loved the 1st time we saw him...sending jedi mad, and seeing them scared as he cut them down. Holding his army off so he could face a group of jedi himself, to which he takes sadistic pleasure in doing. Which he kills 3, severely wounds ayla and shaak ti, and if not for the clones he would have killed ki andi mundi... he was amazing and so dark. (Sorry for spelling)
+Dave Marshall To be honest i don't think he was that evil. Yes he did kill but so did the jedi. Let me just quote this comment from +TV-94. "When you learn the backstory of Grievous you can't help but feel (at least a bit) sorry for the guy, I mean the Republic and the Jedi gave his people hell when they fought against the Huk which was trying to enslave them, then Kalee had to pay Republic sanctions after the Kalee-Huk War, which resulted in many of the Kaleesh starving to death, including Grievous' wives and children, slowly, not hard to see why Grievous hates the Republic and the Jedi with a passion!"
You speak out of my hearth. Grievous is the most awesome character in the era of the new trilogy. His past as a kaleesh warrior/warlord, the way he had been used by the Sith, etc. It's a very touching story. And of course, the way he puts himself in the fights against the Republic and the Jedi, it's just fabulous! Such a same, what "they" made this amazing character in the TCW. :(
One of the best Grievous Tributes I seen and if you think about it Grievous had a reason to hate the Republic and jedi for what they caused to his planet in the huk-kaleesh war.
I am really disappointed with Grievous being wiped out so quickly. Everyone calls him a coward, for he runs away a lot, he only does that BASED ON DOOKU'S TRAINING. Link to prove: ua-cam.com/video/PKgv6xyY5MM/v-deo.html Intimidation, and fear He is truly underrated, killing so many jedi, and embarrassing the entire jedi council by not being force senstitive.
The whole show is pure hypocrisy. Jedi calling someone a coward for evacuating yet they do it all the time. And whats the point in staying in a fight when you know you're going to lose it? Play smart.
+Luke Day Well....I mean, thanks? I think. I don't really "understand his pain". I just know what makes an effective video. But thanks for the comment. =)
I swair I hear this music and I think some guy gets a realy sad hand in life I mean realy sad hand and he be come a bad guy that you feel sorry for and hopes he live but that is houw I feel about the music.
People say boba fett is cool, and darth maul and I agree they are, but general grievous will always be my favorite and the most badass character in the Star Wars universe. Who else could strike fear in the hearts of so many Jedi! And not even be a Sith Lord or have force powers!. His backstory is one of the best and very tragic. And his fighting skill is amazing! Before and after becoming a cyborg. The true Jedi killer right here! and to answer your questions. He still lives off of his internal organs witch are in the sack in the center of his armor. Underneath his face plate is his eyes and the flesh around them witch you see his computer inhanced brain. So he is not a robot he is a cyborg. Basically vader times 100
Really cool (and often underused) villain, though the fandom tends to absolve him way too easily (like they do with every epic antagonist). Just to keep it in mind, the guy made extensive use of biological weapons (thus killing billions of civilians) and is author of numerous other war crimes.
Don't make it sound like a bad thing… But all 2edgy4u internet jokes aside, yes the Grievous we know and see is a monster. But his backstory has never really been seen outside the EU. He and his people were legitimately fucked over in the Huk war by the Republic and the Jedi. The "I only live to see you die" line really shows he's only in the Clone War to take a crack at settling the score. Added to the fact the Separatists manipulated (psychologically and physically, they tampered with his brain during the operation) him into becoming what he is. There's a really good, story there thats more ambiguous than most and I hope it gets told outside the EU one day.
+James Cannella Don't worry about grammar i've didn't spotted any Grammar Nazi/Grammar Inqusition yet, and about that yes, only thing that beaten Grievous is Force (Always Being Pushed back by force push ;/
+Sarah Callaghan While I agree that the 2003 version is better, this one does occasionally have his moments, and at least is better than the film version.
+Moandor True, and as much I love the 2003 version. I like this grievous version better cause we see more character development. The 2003 made him too powerful and badass against the Jedi. The clone wars show that he had his limits and he wasn't all powerful yet he was cruel and evil. Yet if they wanted to make him more like he was in the 2003 version they could have add him later on in the series. Like at the start of the series the leader of the droid army is a character we never seen before who later on the series dies (like 3rd or 4th session). Then later grievous is introduce as the new general and is introduce similar to the 2003 version.
General Grievous is my most favorite Character of all time
I love everything about him...
I love all of his versions...all of his incarnations...
His voice actors...
His story...
His life...
His Species...
His Faction...
Everything...
Long live The Knightslayer, The Jedi Hunter, The Supreme General of the CIS
Long Live...General Grievous
FOR GENERAL GRIEVOUS!
for the kalee
Long live our General. Roger, Roger!
I will drink to that
yo ho yo ho a grievous life to me
I prefer this General Grevious.Pure power and honor and strikes fear into the wretched Jedi. Also who here rooted for the CIS in the clone wars?
+Lord Zorrex{Wrath of the Emperor} i personally preferred the overall conflict between the republic and CIS. felt more engaging then the rebellion vs the empire. most likely because i truly felt for the relationships between the jedi and their clones.
I agree with this Luner.I wish the Galactic Empire won due to their tech being overwhelming.AT-ATs,AT-STs,TIE bombers and numerous divisions. They should have beaten a few mere rebels.
+TV-94 too bad the show's creators make them look like the bad guys (invading neutral planets, enslaving people, etc)
Long live the confederacy of independent systems!
Thank you for rooting for us and most importantly me
i wish they kept grievous like how he was in the older clone wars cartoon. Crazy fast and able to fight with his feet, (Unorthodox style?) that was so damn badass,
Mace fucked em up breh
+lollypopalopicus And then came the 2008 series. And Grievous became ... pathetic.
Plot armor is OP pls nerf ->_
Nah, him fighting with his feet looked kinda stupid. Worked ok in the 2003 Cartoon, wouldn’t have worked in 2008 TCW.
Grevious has to be one of my favorite characters in Star Wars :3
i agree he but it stil sucks that he died
dont worry, i'll be back.
General Grievous All Hail Grievous!
General Grievous All hail the grand general of the confederacy! LONG LIVE THE CIS!
+General Grievous Commander i've send you letter about the Karshin support what is your response?
Describes Grievous pretty well! Badass villain with a tragic backstory who lives for revenge.

"Your reputation precedes you, General; the reputation of a coward and a murderer..."
*"Is it murder to rid the galaxy of you Jedi filth?!"*
Intimidation Worked BTW The Davy Jones theme Fits PERFECTLY
One of the best Grievous Tributes I seen and if you think about it Grievous had a reason to hate the Republic and jedi for what they caused to his planet in the huk-kaleesh war.
Thank you.

Awesome Davy Jones music fits Grievous
I loved it it shows that a Monster must createt and not born.
I am really disappointed with Grievous being wiped out so quickly. Everyone calls him a coward, for he runs away a lot, he only does that BASED ON DOOKU'S TRAINING. Link to prove: ua-cam.com/video/PKgv6xyY5MM/v-deo.html
Intimidation, and fear
He is truly underrated, killing so many jedi, and embarrassing the entire jedi council by not being force senstitive.

Such power, such sorrow .. I think Davey has too much in common with Grevious ... Clearly he understands his pain

How's this for General grievous theme ( GENERAL GRIEVOUS WITH EITHER THE IMPERIAL MARCH OR THE TERMINATOR THEME )
And call it The generals revenge
Imagine if Grievous had the Clone instead of Droids.
What's the name of the song from the ending?
What IS under Grievous' mask anyway?
Cookie Monster without the fur
I wish Disney got Hans Zimmer to do Star Wars music!
And what music plays the whole movie?
John Silver Davy Jones.
Ninja Spy mhmh.. Yeap.

+Drakle Studios (Lee Coates) Davy Jones theme.
Kaiser Franz Josef I Thank you
Grievous should'nt have treated like comic relief in the show and ROTS, He could have been so much better
cool/sad

It is a pity that in the animated series "the clone wars" turned... forgive me, Lord in the shredder from ninja turtles.
*nerf g r i e v o u s*
I look very attractive
davy jones...
grievous is a walking blendar I,m superice obi wan did,t lose a arm or a leg oh sorry if my spelling is bad .
+James Cannella Don't worry about grammar i've didn't spotted any Grammar Nazi/Grammar Inqusition yet, and about that yes, only thing that beaten Grievous is Force (Always Being Pushed back by force push ;/
funny story is that I read the title as such : Grivious - Super-racist! but yeah, I didin,t read it right lol
this grievous is crap, look up 2003 grievous
+Sarah Callaghan While I agree that the 2003 version is better, this one does occasionally have his moments, and at least is better than the film version.
PyroGothNerd true, i agree
+Sarah Callaghan I love the look and the voice of the new Grievous, but now he's just useless both as a fighter and a general...
