This LX470 Lexus (Toyota 100 series equivalent) is the cleanest 24yr old LX you've ever seen!
It goes to show, how maintaining your Lexus / Toyota vehicle, it will last for decades, as it was intended.
When doing all your regular maintenance, garage kept, and timing belt, your LX470 can last for 600k miles++
Looking at the condition of the body and engine, you would guess 50k miles, and never left the garage. Well, this LX has 314k miles! and looks stunning!
It's my neighbors LX, and I always noticed how clean it was the rare times I would see it out of the garage.
Recently, he told me he was selling it. I asked to see it, and of course I knew it was pristine, but didnt know the miles. I looked at the engine bay and it looks like a brand new LX at the showroom.
I couldn't believe it and askes if I could video the LX and post to my channel, to share how Beautiful these SUVs are and what a pampered LX looks like after 24 years... and counting!
He added the right updates too, like a Bluetooth stereo with amp and new speakers subwoofer,
rearview camera, replaced radiator at same time as last TB and WP at 281k, trickle chargerr etc.

Back in 2018. I came across a 1998 gold color, same beige interior as yours with I believe 95,000 miles. In prestine condition. 100% stock, no after market stuff. Engine compartment looked new too. My local used car dealer had it on his lot for close to 2 years. He wanted $15k for it and would not budge on the price.
The price will come up and meet him!
@@CruisingTheLand Yes and then more too. The LX470 had the 16" wheels with chunky tires too. He said he bought it from a local Lexus dealer that didnt want old models on their lot. Maybe I should have bought it then. But it was tough convincing myself to fork over $15k for a 20 year old toyota.
That LX is really clean!!! I got an LX for my wife like 4 moths ago it was clean but not as clean as the one in the video. My friend was the second owner and he got it as a trade in at a Toyota dealer he used to work for. He had it for about 10 years and drove it only 100k and now is at 200k and drives really nice. He was really attached to his LX and I tried buying it for a couple years but he finally decide to sell it and his wife saw my wife’s RX which we were trying to sell to get the LX but his wife decided to trade with us the RX. My wife’s RX was in really good shape with all the services up to date and I everything in good shape. They are happy with the RX and we are really happy with the LX 😃😃😃
The only reason they would want to downgrade the LX to the RX is maybe just maybe. Cost to run them. Gas and maintenance.

The rims noooo, my eye's I can't unsee this. The 80 series is sexy though, so my eye's work again now.

Hi! I love your channel and I am so glad I came across it, I find it to be a great resource of information on all things Land Cruiser. You are a wealth of knowledge indeed! I recently acquired a 1998 LX470 such as this, and in very good condition. I love all things 4x4 related and have a great respect for and admiration for Toyota and Landcruisers in particular. I have a question though as I am new at this. I think the LX 470's AHC is great but would also as a future project want to lift my own vehicle without affecting the AHC. Watching this episode I think I heard you mention something about a lift for this? Can I still somehow lift my vehicle without having to remove the AHC (as I've read about, most who modify the LX470 suspension remove the AHC). I very much would not want to remove the AHC but still get a lifted truck. Or do I even need to lift it all? Because the AHC in itself is sufficient? Please let me know your thoughts on this, I would greatly appreciate your insight, thank you!
You can get a module to override the AHC.. I will be doing a video on a LX470 that did exactly that..
Would love to see your thoughts about the Prado/GX’s. I couldn’t afford a Land Cruiser/LX so I got a GX.
I just bought a HDT81 (its a new video on my channel) , and flew to Phoenix to get it. The seller picked me up in a KZ Diesel Prado, a 1990s with the 4 cyl turbo I believe. A nice ride!
Looking to picking up a 1998 JDM LC with the 4.7 right hand drive and the active vacation package. Are there things to look for on these. It has 96k miles and a fresh timing belt job done. Thanks

Ive always liked that color! Not huge on the wheels though.
Blizzard pearl(98-05) or the crystal White (06-07) beautiful colors. That pearl will outlast the vehicle... 100 years... it repels sun and is best paint from Lexus.
The wheels, can be changed back to OEM 16s or the 18s..
The wheels make it look exactly what year it's from.
