I played at a jam once at a bar in Chapel Hill with an audience. Andrew joined in and played amazing breaks on songs I had written and offered me time on his songs. I knew I had played music with the best mandolin player, by far, that I had ever performed with. He was kind enough to compliment me on my songs. It wasn't until later that a friend in the audience told me who I had been playing with. One of the fondest memories in music for a 75 year old guy.
