We've been wanting to leave Colorado for a while. Back in October I mentioned St. George to my wife as a possible new place to move to. We took a trip out there in early November and fell in love. We grabbed a sandwich and ate it in Harmon's. Earlier this month we made a trip to find a place to rent while our Colorado home was on the market. A new listing in Ivins popped up on Zillow while we were there. We contacted an agent to have it shown to us. It was the place. We went home and worked with loan people in St. George to create a bridge loan. We got approved. We made an offer on the home and it was accepted. We will be moving to Ivins. Everybody we've met in the area has been wonderful.

That all depends. Home prices have been increasing over the past few years. Other items like insurance, food and utilities are less than other places. Where do you live?

Californians ruined Ivins.
You were able to get a home for 130 to 190k.
Those same homes go for 550k to 650k. But thats ok, right?
