It would be interesting to know how much the restrictor in the 125 carb is limiting the power on the 125. For me buy 125 and buy the 190 motor.

Cool Video. I would definitely go with the 190, due to the electric starter and more torque. Greetings from Germany🙋🏻‍♂

I've had 6 chines bikes in the last few years they are great fun. ( I used to ride and race and write for magazines about big bikes!). I find they all need one tooth bigger on the front sprocket.. I now have a zontes 310zt which is in my opinion one of the best bikes to come out of China. They are really upping there game these days. But the point being. Even my zontes I have gone from a standard 14T sprocket to a 15T. Not much money and very little effort for a massive improvement in rider quality

What gains did you get with the sprocket change?

@@motorsforthemasses I found it just makes the gears a bit longer. So the bikes didn't feel so "revy". I didn't notice any loss when pulling away and I don't really bother with top speed! What's the point! It's a 125.. Its never going to break the speed limit. I found that I wasn't racing through the gears just to get to 20 mph. It makes it a much more relaxed event getting up to speed

I hope DVLC has got there arse in gear now because I put a 109 engine in a c90 a while back and it took them over a year and about 20 letters Hundreds of questions and photographs and many hours on the phone to get it registered . Bloody nightmare for an extra 10 cc.

Would you really ride a 140cc bike if you could legally ride a bigger one, and had enough money.
I would want at least 250 cc.

Definitely won't encourage people who can legally only ride a 125cc to try and pass the bigger capacity bike off as still being a 125 🤥

It is a road legal pit bike (and there are very few of those) which happens to have a 125 engine in it. For those with full licences who want a brand new fun, light, road legal pitbike for under £2k without spending 3 times that on a new enduro bike; but want more than a 125 in it, why not? I have no control over whether people do the same with only a CBT. Same as if I fit Alloys to a car and engine mods; I have no control over someone else doing the same but failing to tell their insurance company. People have their own minds, their own decisions and their own conscience.

Can ride a 140 as a leaner as long as the horsepower is under 14.751 which is equal to the 11Kw
