My doctor suggested this diet to me today to manage my PCOS and insulin resistance. Its not a 30 day thing for me though 😕 this is a life style change like for good
I try to do Whole 30 once a year. It resets my sugar tolerance, helps my gallbladder and liver, and I feel so much lighter. On day 31 there's no way I can eat sugar like I did on day 1. It's way too much. I've done the GAPS diet, and the Standard Process Purification ,and Whole 30 is easy in comparison. Buy yourself a cookbook and try it, your body will thank you!
Hoping to do a variation of this but i am not beating myself and restarting if i make a mistake I don’t agree with that. It sounds triggering and like something that could lead to disordered eating, so i will be careful with that.
Shocked a registered dietitian can comfortably say we need dairy and grains from sources we can easily get from veggies, eggs, and meat like salmon. Mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, spinach, and broccoli are all great sources of fiber, iron, and vitamin D as well!
I enjoyed listening to the pros and cons. Thank you. Its very healthy and wise to study the pros and cons of anything. I did disgree with one point however. That is that we NEED iron and other nutrients from legumes and grains. Liver has thee highest source of iron and seaweed does also as well as apricots. I believe its good to eliminate these if you are having digestive issues and to prepare them by soaking/ sprouting when coming to use. Cool video and nice style :) And, it takes guts to put yourself out there and point out possible pros and cons. x
She is using the typical cherry picking trash talk on this way of eating. After 30 days, you will slowly re- introduce the different food groups back into your diet. Watch how your body reacts, and if it’s not good, then that’s not a food group for your body. I did this challenge a year ago. After I brought back the different food groups, I quickly found which ones were not good for me and have kept the 20 pounds off for a year. Once the sugar cravings subsided, it was actually quite easy - no measuring and no counting.
Take it from me: one problem with the scale is that as you refine your eating and get more active, your muscle mass will grow and fat will slowly recede. This can make the scale appear to be flat for two or three weeks, which can be very demoralizing. Just keep at it. The results will come.
I'm not certain how healthy cow's milk is for humans. It certainly wasn't healthy for me. My doctor told me to cut it out 2 years ago and I've rarely had a problem since.
You should burn your license for making this video if you did not try it. This program is amazing and helped me realize dairy products are for cows not humans. I have tried several diets and this was by far one of the easiest and tastiest diets I have ever tried.
Nope, no measurements! There is a template to follow for what your meals should look like, but otherwise, no weighing or measuring of food. And no calorie counting!
Your body processes natural sugar differently than processed sugars. Remember, it’s only for 30 days and then you re-introduce food groups, one by one, to see how your body reacts. And then you make your decision if you’re going to keep eating that food group.
This is WHY your basic Conventional Dietitian is as bad as your Conventional Allopathic Medical Doctor for BAD HEALTH. INSTEAD, seek out a Functional Doctor or a Doctor of Chiropractor specializing in NATURAL MEDICINE, if you WANT TO STAY DISEASE FREE.
Dairy is not beneficial to anyone other than baby cows which is what it is meant for. I’m very disappointed in your touting safety of dairy. Want scientific proof? Look up Dr. Michael Greger and Nutrition Facts.org.
You cannot say dairy is not beneficial when it literally does have benefits such as being a complete protein source and having high amounts of calcium to reinforce bone density and stave off osteoporosis in older population. Dairy is fine to consume if an individual has no digestive problems with it and they live an active life style as all people should. you're not smarter than an RD, people need to stop saying things that are not true and you can't cherry pick one doctor who says it may be harmful when there are far more who will say it's fine if not good to infact consume.
How is it beneficial to them? Where are the studies that are peer reviewed with no bias? Veganism damages the planet too in many ways so it's not much better than having a normal diet.
It’s best to approach the Whole30 as “what you CAN eat”, rather than what you have to cut out. Simple!
Exactly..all mindset...glass half full
Mostly Whole Foods and intermittent fasting is how I lost all my extra weight and I’m no longer pre-diabetic. Love this WOL.
Love this woman. The music is distracting tho
1970’s jive! Haha
Ohh and it continues throughout 🤦♀️

Same here! The benefits are amazing!
It’s unsustainable

Best diet I've seen, but I restrict a couple more items in the area of fats that I don't react well to. Now I look and feel healthier than ever.

RIGHT??!?!
I agree!!! Someone must be paying her pretty big!
She didn’t say NEED, she simply said it’s great source. (Great option)

so basically all the nutrients you're cutting out you can get from other foods that are allowed
The music is annoying!
Wow... I literally watched that entire thing and didn’t learn crap because the music was so annoying and distracting
32 seconds in & I clicked out 😕
Would you recommend this to kickstart clean eating and then with to something like Mediterranean Diet?
Yes, it'll get you off the sugars and carbs. Makes you crave less.

This is exactly what I was looking for
I like videos with the BACKGROUND MUSIC is just as loud as the audio.
Makes poking your eyes with a hot stick not so bad

Agree! I always feel so much better when I cut it out!
the music is too loud.
Why are the captions giving exercise instructions, while you are talking about Whole 30?
We love the Whole 30 way of eating

From everything I’ve read on this diet, there are no food measurements. 1/4 cup of a whole food for a 4’9” woman won’t be enough for a 6’5” tall man.
Nope, no measurements! There is a template to follow for what your meals should look like, but otherwise, no weighing or measuring of food. And no calorie counting!
I loved the music , thanks for you time to do this video.
Cut out the back ground music
Distracting
I couldn't get a straight answer out of Whole30 so maybe you can help me.
If sugar and sweeteners are verboten why is it OK to consume FRUITS?
Naturally occurring sugars in food are different from processed manufactured sugars.
@@vickieaskew9799 yeah but honey and maple syrup are also naturally occurring

The back ground music was stressful couldn't watch
The captions are for a different video
Only lasted 1 minute due to the annoying music.
You lost me when you said dairy is beneficial for health.
#WellGoodSquad!!!💜🙋🏾♀️ Happy New Year!!!🎊🎉
I don’t know what’s more distracting, the background music or her voice 😂
Music! Definitely the music!
@@mipoorboy1478 😂
Next time, leave off the music. Could not watch because it was SO loud 🤦♀️

Just for the record, websites that have .org mean they're made by an organization, and they're typically biased which damages credibility.
This comment section is loaded with wannabe dieticians and music connoisseurs, a.k.a. crybabies.
Megan Trainor?
Eliminating dairy is beneficial for cows. Go vegan! 🥳👍🥰👏🌿🌱😋
How is it beneficial to them? Where are the studies that are peer reviewed with no bias? Veganism damages the planet too in many ways so it's not much better than having a normal diet.
So meat is ok but legumes are not? 😂 That's ridiculous. Legumes are a million times more healthy than meat.
Grains are VERY DANGEROUS!!!!
This is why I don't trust dietitians. Something about this video just didn't feel right. Didn't sound too well researched.
6 tablespoons of fat allowed on this diet per day. No thank you
the music was too much in the background
