And this is why I can't understand there pedals ever being 2k a piece. Like ridiculous. I've seen 5 peoppe make them 2 of which with metalq dn high quality parts all of which cost them at most 500 even with the programming. So yeah I don't get it when simucube gets wholesale and discounts from production etc.
They mostly adopted CNC processing technology, which would cost a lot, plus the research and development costs. In fact, I feel that it is not expensive, although I think it is worth it, but because I did not have enough pre-orders, I made it myself.
@xiaoximu idk tbh i cant see it being truely 2k a pedal. Especially with a few changes they dropped it by 500 dollars yet didnt take 500 away from true cost. Telling me they have massive overhead and are making alot of profit. I can't see this being possible. No way it truely costs even 1500 to make. They are charging 2k a pedal for the ultimates and 1500 for the pros.
before complaining about the cost, you have to do some research. I dont think you can build one pedal with CNC Parts for unter 500€/$. Maybe if you have the machine to make it your self. Motor costs 100€, JKK60-Rail with shiping 140€ (simucube uses hiwin rail in his ultimate products (cost for normal people arround 950$ one rail, i dont speak about the ali hiwi rails which are arround 330$) ), Powerboard, Controller board, 50€, Loadcell 50€, Powersuply 25€, ->365€ for mechanical Parts + some little things like bolds, wires... . Than the 3d Printed parts or the CNC Parts, if you can do it by yourself, arround add another 200€ per pedal. So arround 6xx€ for one pedal. Yah still cheaper than simucube. But simucube is a company an had to pay the working people. You have to consider the development time, where you not making any money. The advertising you have to do, the software updates etc. So this things costs the most. I think in the future we will see more active pedals, which will costs defenitly less
Can you share the 3D printed files and BOM you used ?
I wish I could do something like that to myself ❤
What does the pedal software look like?
I think Control Software is SimHub. There are several GitHub Projects.
Where can we buy this and which software?
😍😍😍😍Great job
Great job but not music

@@reviewforthetube6485 Yes, they launched an entry-level model, but the price is still out of my budget.
